1M players and the game isnt even out lmaooo. Behemoth of a franchise this became for xbox.
Facts.
one old guy making a joke about another old guy.
Still much much better than poor man’s Arkham Knight.
What have you started?
Hmm, Fable will probably have mounts.
Is this a thing from LinkedIn or something? Because that was probably an easy bet anyway
Just a random thought from me.
I’ll add that I hope it has flying mounts too
Crackdown 3 was fine. Not great, and not bad. The bones of the franchise are built on ideas that modern gaming has moved past. Unless Crackdown 4 makes SYSTEMIC changes, I don’t see what the point would be in bringing it back? Collecting orbs at an even higher resolution? Bigger explosions?
This is one of those instances where I’m like “sure, some people want it, but would it not be better to devote those resources to a new IP/project instead that won’t be shackled by the expectations of the past?”
I’m not trying to tear down anyone that likes Crackdown, but in terms of it being a franchise that needs to keep going…I gotta push back and say “I think that’s not a great idea”. Xbox doesn’t need to keep attention on its C-tier franchises anymore, especially when you look at everything else in their portfolio.
Crackdown is done forever, Xbox would never resurrect a franchise directly related to its 8th gen failures, it’s bad pr even before the game starts development.
Jet set Radio… Now that’s a franchise that needs to come back
I mean, I play Forza co-op too…
I would too
It’s on “C-tier” if it’s executed poorly. How many examples have we seen of franchises reinvented and brought back stronger than ever? Countless.
It’s pretty simple, if the game ends up being fun, people will show up. If not, they won’t. Don’t overthink it. Blowing shit up is not a genre that waxes and wanes.

Do people think this will be a game?
What are the other thoughts, tech demo?
No. At least not in the traditional sense.
