This start is massive, and all those devs that are dissatisfied with Sony and PlayStation are now being welcomed with open arms on Xbox.

PlayStation wouldn’t even dare to do this with their focus on AAA.

Hopefully that won’t mean we would get more shitty releases on Xbox. Since they Microsoft made Xbox more open to many people there are lot of shitty games that shouldn’t be there, like lot of Xitilon’s stuff being (in)famous lately because of achievements.

At least still it’s not like Steam which has thousands of craps, cash grabs, early access and scams.

I’m the opposite. I’m buying more third party games day 1 because I don’t have to buy first party games anymore.

If I had to buy Halo Infinite and FH5, I would not have thought about getting Lost Judgement or Guardians of the Galaxy this year.

GP and rewards is so good for my wallet.

Same. Those games for me are NieR Replicant and Scarlet Nexus. Lost Judgment was always going to be an instant buy.

I hope japanese devs will stop porting PS versions and begin to make proper Xbox ports, many times the unbelievable performance differences, present also during the X1X time, are because of this: they simply port ps4/ps5 games to Xbox, they don’t make them for the platform specifically and then performances vary depending on the engine.

I think you need to use the Directx APIs for Xbox port. But I agree they don’t optimise their engines correctly. Technology know-how is not very good.

Yeh this is me. I can more easily get DLC and titles, like I had my eyes on Scarlet Nexus, Death’s Door and Tales of Arise. Can comfortably say yes to getting those now. Whereas before I would have been in 2 minds.

I’m the same. Deaths door was an easy purchase because I didn’t have to choose between it or the Ascent. There’s no big Gamepass games that know about in September but because they got me covered for pretty much every other game I want this year I’m fine with buying Tales.
