My “mod powers” are to try and keep the forum healthy, which it rarely has been lately. Quite often the same small group of people push away any actual healthy discussion to instead partake in barely hidden console war drivel. We allow self moderation through the reporting system 99.9% of the time, but the amount of users ignored by others on here is astounding. The amount of dm’s I get with people “sick of all the negativity and list wars” over the time I’ve moderated is long, and do not immediately jump to me “abusing mod powers” when it’s something I rarely ever touch.
I’m wondering though if Indus is more “grounded” like say a Civ game, that has SOME basis in reality/history.
Or if maybe it’s a fantasy/sci-fi setting.
If once again raising a perceived flaw in the xbox strategy or an area of improvement is concern trolling or list wars then idk what to say. Nobody is derailing conversations, being hostile or outright being dickheads. Just casual forum talk.
Also “its on game pass” to defend a possible Indy exclusivity is nonsense. Minecraft is also there and xbox hasnt leveraged it to sell xbox in the way it should.
I don’t care I’m not a “concern troll” and won’t let anyone label me as one when I’m sure I’m making valid points and I’m also sure that Xbox has a bright future ahead.
Talking about things that should improve the brand shouldn’t be shunned.
The game is barely announced and years away, yet its potential exclusivity comes up time and time again with the same over the top dramatic takes by the same few people.
I just want to talk about Indus people…
It’s the most thing I’m excited about. Like with everything announced, it’s this leaked game that has me gonzo excited.
A 4X game on console by Microsoft?
Like WHAT?!
I see.
Then I’m out of I’m being so bad for people here.
When you make that argument journous dismiss it saying media bias is non existent, a huge double standard exponent was on podcadt last week, lol.
If it’s only on GP day one is good for customers, but not good enough for brand, that’s not really debatable, “concern trolling” or not.
The fun part is, they have so many more things in the pipeline that haven’t been announced. I wonder what other type of genres they end up covering since their philosophy now really is “get the best creators to make their dream games”
Gimme Indus and a JRPG and I’ll die a happy Prog.
You’re a customer though, you’re not a shareholder. Again, this game is barely announced and incredibly far away. Seeing how much it gets brought up here as some sorta gotcha about the “brand” is exhausting.
I care for the brand, don’t you?
Also Jez knowing what Compulsion is up too, along with them being more active in interviews and stuff lately, makes me feel like a TGA announcement teaser is a probably good bet.
No, I don’t care about brands. I pay them money so they should care about me.
IMO, there isn’t anything to discuss regarding Indiana Jones exclusivity. We have already discussed it and we have conflicting information. Why go negative when all we have is what ifs and the discussion is already old lol
No. They are a giant corporation, not my friend. The only thing I care about is them providing me the most bang for my buck. Which they are excelling at. If that stops, I’ll go somewhere else.
Ok, but caring for it doesn’t make us “concern trolls”. There is always a middle ground.
Thank you, that is the main point. We have “older” info from Jez and “newer” info from Nick. Other than that we know nothing about the game, when it’s coming, anything at all really. It’s not worth constantly talking about, and never was.
Then I wish you could find it.
