If by any means Indy is not an exclusive and it doesn’t have a contract with Sony, it’s entirely MS fault for letting it be multiplat.

Sounds to me he is just giving his opinion rather than anything he has heard otherwise he would have mentioned it, I would have thought.
Can anyone even picture PlayStation fans sitting around having to speculate wether PS games like Wolverine are going to be exclusive or not?
It sucks that we even have to have these discussions on Xbox.

Indeed, I understand that the Indu deal was.probably made before the acquisition but even so, the game is being built from the ground up under Xbox support.
If the game doesn’t have a Sony contract, it’s unthinkable to make it multiplat.
I’ll keep post this image everytime Indy exclusivity comes into question, because it only makes sense.

We stretched legacy thin with the whole Quake ordeal and nobody to blame but Xbox and Zenimax for that for reigniting this nonsense.
Like Im sure they will be exclusive but this dialogue wont die only because of them.

I was only ever talking about scores, as that’s where the conversation started. Haven’t said a single thing about a wider preference, which there obviously is because it’s the leading console.
I just don’t agree that this bias is so widespread and ferocious that it has enough of a drip down effect to cause statistically different aggregate review scores. Again I only ever mentioned review scores and agree there are contradictory reactions from some outlets regarding things like CGI and timed exclusivity. But that’s a whole different convo.

That reminds me of last year when he said he didn’t think Xbox cared really much about exclusivity and that’s why he didn’t believe Xbox would make Starfield or Bethesda in general exclusive.
Something closely along those lines.
Deathloop is nothing but marketing for Xbox and gamepass. One of the highest rated Ps5 exclusives yet.
‘Hey you like deathloop… ya I love it……well if it want to play any more games by that developer you will have to come to xbox’.

Not to mention it would be a really bad look too. Indy isn’t coming anytime soon, so several years from now a Xbox studio would release a game on PlayStation too?. And then comes the matter of…sequels. If it’s a succes they might make another one, since the first one was on PS, will this too?

It wouldn’t make any sense. Sony can get full Marvel exclusives + timed exclusives from Bethesda and Microsoft has to fight for one from their own studios?
