Xbox Game Studios |OT6| But wait, there's MORE....studios

If we see Age 4 show up again with another trebuchet segment at the TGA’s I may just combust.

Age of Empires is significant even in Japan, another AoE 4 trailer is very likely. XD

Considering Greenberg tweet, the best scenario could be long awaited japanese ports and info about XGS line-up for this fall, also Forza and Halo are liked over there, so is Flight Sim (with the multiplayer and Top Gun update there is much to talk), then maaaybe (this is a stretch) some ID@Xbox game still expected this year and other indie partners over there.

I still think that not having 1st party stuff japanese made is a weakness, but Tango is bounded to PS5 first (which is even worse than the Deathloop situation from this point of view, considering wider implications of an already weak market for Xbox) and who knows when the alleged Kojima deal will be announced.

Zenimax already said in countless job postings it’s an rpg.

I’d like to see what rpg’s you think are coming and I’m which years. Because if a fallout game is in 2025, and you think outer worlds is sooner than we think, than you must think 2023 or 2024. Which means out of fable or avowed you think one hits in 2023 or 2024, but the other isn’t till 2026 or 2027.

Saying they will only release one rpg per year puts you into a corner when predicting dates for these games. That would put inexiles and zenimax’s all the way to 2028 and 2029.

My opinion-

  • avowed early 2023
  • fable late 2023
  • outer worlds 2 early 2024
  • late 2024 inexiles rpg
  • 2025 zenimax onlines
  • 2025-2026 elder scrolls

I think MS/Rare should consider this

It would boost immensely its popularity worldwide and Asia expecially, One Piece is much more hot than Pirates of the Caribbean nowadays.

I cannot imagine one piece fitting in the game at all outside of costumes and ship sets.

Am i the only one who thinks Fable will come out sooner than 2024? Dont forget that Playground is working at “an open world rpg” since 2017 and in october 2018 they hired 177 devs after MS acquisition.

Starfield isn’t Fable and Fable isn’t The Outer Worlds 2 and The Outer Worlds 2 isn’t Avowed etc etc. They may share the same game category but they are all going to be their unique take on the RPG genre. Of course they could deliver 2 of them in the same year, if the games are ready of course.

Hey man, I was wondering do you have any other updates on Avowed, Fable and maybe even inXile?

MS will also be launching many games in other genres, big games at that. So they will want to diversify thier line up, which leads me to believe they will position these RPGs as one per year

It’s laughable that Chris says… “If Josh didn’t want to work on Avowed then that means the game is a mess”… Like… what? Lol? That is his reasoning to explain that the game must be in a bad state? Even though Jeff Grubb says it’s going really well?

And yeah, like you say, he didn’t want to work on Avowed because he was already working on his own project.

Add to that that the designer who left was not even working on Avowed at all… It’s all nonsense.

Avellone is such a bitter, miserable pos. He should STFU and stop the toxic crap that he spews. I guess he tries to stay rellevant with shit like that while Obsidian are making the games of their dreams with a publisher that can back that. lol

Maybe they’ll show off Project Dragaon at TGA, that ot the Kojima thing would be the 2 big surprises that we have nothing to go on because both should be new IP. Announcing a Hellblade sequal and revival of Fable aren’t as big as a new big IP especially when they known to be coming, both were still awesome though.

Just to be clear, if we see any trailers, or footgae shown for a single upcoming Xbox owned RPG, within the next 14 months, that isn’t Starfield, then that means your prediction is incorrect?

We just got Starfield with TOW2 this E3! Lol

Last year we got Fable and Avowed … :joy:

I think Xbox will definitely need a couple of big shows next year. Or do something like a specific show for Starfield, like sony did with State of Play for Horizon Forbidden West.

Their E3 will be absolutely packed if they don’t separate the reveals.

I’ve heard (good) things on Avowed, but nothing I would share publicly. Nothing on the other two.

Nah, more I’m saying they wont go in depth about those other RPGs due to Starfield being the main focus.

Oh well, that could be up for interpretation what could be considered in-depth
