Hades is 93% and that game runs on switch.
Iām avoiding reading anything about it because the first few previews told too much information about the plot. Donāt want to get it spoiled.
Never watch the E3 Discussion with TIm then because he spoiled like damn near half the game it feels like.
Itās been delayed like 5 times (original release date was 2018)ā¦ so he probably couldnāt help himself but finally do a deep dive.

Yeah, you could have a point there. The combination of shooting and platforming just does it for people. I expect the story to be much better written, more interesting and more in depth in Psychonauts 2 , one of the reasons I appreciate the first one so much. Ratchet isnāt exactly known for itās unique and well written stories. It had its own kind of humor and that was good, but if Iām to believe Dunkey and a video Iāve seen of the reboot the humor isnāt that great anymore and more aimed at younger people.

The first one has an 88 on metacritic, would be awesome if they break the 90 this time.

Everyone always talks about Meat Circus, but when I played in on PS2 it wasnāt that bad.
Only then did I found out that not only is the PS2 version the worst version, Meat Circus was patched in that version to be less Meat Circus-y.

I wish people would stop this. Thereās no score review bias.
Games reviewed better in the XO/PS4 generation because PS4 had the better, newer games while Xbox had Gears/Halo/Forza.

Game reviewed better on the 360 era when 360 had the best version and the best 3rd party exclusives.

I think psychonauts will get a 90 metacritic and will be a pretty lengthy game at 20 hours. This will be the game that shows that Microsoft acquisition is good for devs
Graphically, just based on the video from E3, Psychonauts 2 looks MILES beyond what Double Fine usually does graphically.
LIke it looks GORGEOUS, and it shows what Double Fine is able to do with money.

The whole system of reviewing as per a platform is uselessā¦
There is no logic of having two different Scores of a same game on two different platforms. There could be only one and that will be, if performance is poor on one then the other

Dude your post above was literally saying 90 for PlayStation and 80 for Xbox.
Thereās not a lot of ways to take that out of context with what Senua said.
But that being said, I agree that itās weird that RE8 would have a 88+ on MC, and then the Xbox version has a 84 because less sites reviewed it.
But still, I think the idea in general that if Psychonauts 2 was PS exclusive it would score higher is a dangerous precedent to set.
I wish gamers could go back to not giving a shit about Metacritic .

I tend have my own personal GOTY every year. Often doesnāt line up with what gets picked up at awards. (Same with music , movies etc)
