Thatâs pretty good!
I finished South Park: The Stick of Truth today. Canât believe it was developed by what is now a Xbox Game Studio!
I loved that game, I even enjoyed the censored sections that they did for Australia with the koala crying.
I need to play it. Iâve only played the sequel which I thought was very good
I played both, I remember feeling that Stick of Truth felt more focused and for me, I thought it had the better story.
It definitely did, and it makes sense given the second wasnât made by Obsidian. Obsidian is arguably one of, if not the best, story-weavers in the industry.
Would really like to see them make another game in this Paper Mario-esque style. Doesnât have to be South Park. (Conker???)
Obsidian is obviously quite busy so I feel selfish asking for yet ANOTHER game from them, butâŚ
Maybe Double Fine with a Costume Quest 3!
Saw this few weeks ago
Halo Infiniteâs store page has been up since way before the Series X|S launch. It doesnât even show the game as being optimized:
Well well well what do we have here⌠is that organic growth!? MS better stop that and use the money instead to buy other companies because MS doesnât believe in growing the companies they buy they just want more and more studios and want to grow inorganically, or so I heard.
Refer to Tom Warrenâs article
Fundamentally, the games you can play on cloud services like Google Stadia, Amazon Luna, and Microsoft xCloud are not â cloud-native.â They were designed to run on existing consoles and PCs, so the only benefits you generally get from the cloud are faster load times, no need to install or patch games, and above-average graphics. Every game you play on Microsoftâs xCloud runs on a single Xbox board in a server rack, so itâs not all that different from the experience of playing on an Xbox at home.
Flight Sim is already a cloud enabled game, without streaming it would be impossible to get high fidelity maps from all over the world.
So when do we think we might see what Xbox Wire said about Avowedâs team has been working on for us? They said soon. They could have gone for a word indicating later than this year but soon seems to me like something in the foreseeable future, but still this year.
We have to wait and see if MS has a XO event this year, because I donât think weâll see this at GC unless has their own thing in August but I donât know.
Gamescom, TGS or TGA. I donât see an X021, they would have already announced it.
I hope theyâll come back in force at Gamescom, itâs a big event and also very meaningful for us europeans, also with Geoff handling the conference it will be big.
going by the fact that both sponger and nate expected avowed at E3, and the fact the xbox wire article mentioned them, Iâm expecting vertical slice later this year. (Iâm also betting on a story trailer with release date at e3 22, and an extended gameplay at end of next year (you enjoying starfield, you love rpgs? here is xbox studios next big one! etc)
