Kojima x Xbox makes the most sense at VGA.
Xbox is having a massive year, Kim Swift is a huge addition and now Xbox not only have console and pc games, but cloud focused games too.
Google attempting to enter gaming space lit a fire underneath MS, they had to protect their marketshare so they went on a spending spree.
All in on gaming.

This is lining up… Kim Swift was employed by Stadia until 2021 and Kojima has previously pitched the game to Google, but it was refused…

Something tells me this is going to be the most ambitious cloud game ever made.
I wonder how Keighley will treat Kojima x Xbox reveal if it’s at the Game Awards. It’s no secret that he is less enthusiastic about Xbox exclusives… but it is his best pal Kojima.

I think Keighley knows about Xbox+Kojima since VGA has already been announced to be held at Microsoft theatre.

I did not understand when you said “it was refused”.
We might be both saying the same thing. 
It was already pitched to Stadia. And then Google decided to fold Stadia first party. Kojima just packed his tent up and looked at Xbox to publish his game.
Having Kim, allows for continuity too.
