I think he means you can’t just throw money at something and expect quality games, but again it’s just going to be used as ammo in the endless and sad console wars.

Well yeah he’s really criticizing himself, Sony’s strategy is to spend money to block content off of other platforms… and yes I know Microsoft is doing the same thing in some regards but they’re taking these studios in house and financially supporting the entire studio, it’s nuanced.
