I’m still watching it live but I’m pretty sure it was around 30 minutes, maybe 10 minutes either side.
Edit: they say it after talking about the Bethesda acquisition and when Jez told Rand about it and they were sitting on it for a whole day. Look for that part
I mean I agree. There were too many characters and too little time for developement and they ultimately all felt dull and empty. I still have no idea though what ever diversity has to do with all that.
Can you elaborate? Im not sure you have thought this through. Are you saying that you feel the characters in Halo 5 are bad / you could not connect with them because they are black / women / both? Or are you saying that the characters being diverse somehow compromised the strength of their writing?
Reach had a great set of characters because they were well written, regardless of diverse traits. I’m not sure what diversity has to do with it or if you are making the point that you think you are.
This show will undoubtedly be a fine show, but it’s next year when we really could be getting the E3 of our dreams. I mean sure, we will see Starfield Sunday in some shape or form but the deep dive, Godd Howard showing what the game is all about will be next year June. I think there’s a big chance we’ll see Fable too, there’s Avowed, maybe something from perfect Dark.
I don’t take insiders word as gospel anymore, but Jeff Grubb did say next year would be the big blowout and then in 2023 is when we’ll really start to see results. It’s kinda crazy, the amazing potential of Xbox E3’s in the near future.
