Honestly I’m starting to think that MS should acquire another publisher this year, because the optics won’t be good if the concurrent events of covid and their late investment in gaming will bring us a 1st party wasteland for the next 1,5 year.
2022 won’t be a wasteland. Starfield, Deathloop, Forza and more. After E3 we hopefully have a much better idea what’s coming 2021/2022.

That’s still a game being made and still a XGS game coming to Gamepass. Everyone likes different things, but everything counts when discussing about numbers and wastelands.

Yeah, well, the better the game will be, the worse will be for Xbox from an optics standpoint, they were fooled with their own game (by Zenimax itself), like Sony with MLB and we know that was a pr debacle for Sony. Deathloop is meaningless for Xbox standing unfortunately.

Again not surprised by your response or ability to put words in my mouth. I was strictly making the determination of First-Party Output. It’s not downplaying to describe reality as it is, just like it is to remind people of how much content Xbox put out last year compared to their closest competitor. But you’ve explicitly described how much that doesn’t count in the past… so projection much?
