Every Forza Horizon is announcing with trailer, gameplay in the same year when it releases.
That’s obvious Playground Games is very busy with new Forza Horizon. Xbox Series X|S update was ported by Panic Button. Steam port was outsourced to Sumo Nottingham.
Why the next Forza will be released in October?Forza Motorsport 7 was released on October 3rd, 2017. It was added to Xbox Game Pass last October. Why? This year it’ll be 4 years after release, so it’ll the same situation like in the past. Forza Motorsport 7 it’s going to be delisted from digital distribution this fall.
Perfect moment to release the new one. This time it’ll be probably the next Forza Horizon.
Exclusive deals would have happened - games would have launched in unfinished state.

Gamepass is what gives Xbox room to stay calm without exclusives. Series S won’t make sense without Gamepass.
At this point, neither you nor me know what’s actually happening. And it isn’t like someone from Microsoft will come to tell us who’s right between the two of us
Another thing I would definitely expect is requirement of connection to our Xbox account via Xbox network on Steam in the future Bethesda Software’s games, like Starfield, to make the Xbox ecosystem more interconnected with its own services.
Let me guess… Everybody melted down over Ratchet and Clank/Horizon SOP, nothing from Xbox yet either games or graphics, and what might and might not be at E3 according to Grubb.
There is only so much gamepass can do if xbox doesnt deliver tho plus realistically They been running on goodwill for 2-3 years and the promise that the investments will pay off.

I don’t think so. Xbox it’s not only Game Pass with third-party games available everywhere and not everyone need to subscribe Game Pass.
Xbox needs first-party exclusives as well. This is one of the main reason why we’re choosing specific platforms. And it’s disappointing that Microsoft couldn’t even prepare themselves for launch of Xbox Series X|S with some second-party games.
But I think that’s obvious thing for everyone here and elsewhere.
Nah, it was mostly people reacting to every twitter musing from insiders, real or otherwise, that speculated on what Xbox will show, or more so what they won’t. How much time they will alot to certain game mode showcases. And how pretty Horizon Forbiden West looked, even though it was a 30fps vertical slice of a single player sony exclusive, which always look impressive. People were worried that Xbox will have nothing that looks that good. So…wheh, the sky is falling

Mine works fine but only posts stuff like 30 mins after I capture it. I recorded something from VIllage and like 45 minutes later it was “Your clip is ready!”

Your view of the situation doesn’t align with what we know about game development, their deals, what was said in court, and even the existence of the Series S. That small console would exist even without Game Pass. They already explained during their hot chips presentation why the Series S exists. Their hardware team does not anticipate hardware prices to drop at the same rate as they have in the past. So instead of having a single high cost console on the market for a long time, they decided to offer an additional SKU with the goal to win over consumers that usually wait for that price point many years into the generation.
I’m not making assumptions here, I’m going off of publicly available information and what is known about the industry.
So have we figured out if @Daniel actually has any inside information on the show, because when I was lurking he was swatting down doomers left and right.
