Yeah, E3 is when everyone is watching. This is where you go all out. But maybe BGS just really wants to stick with having a full reveal very close to launch? Todd has this been saying in several interviews since the Starfield teaser trailer. Otherwise I have no idea what good reason there is to wait for later in the year.

Good thing is that you cant be disappointed if you dont expect anything.
But xbox cannot leave this E3 without showing gameplay from a bunch of stuff irrelevant of COVID tbh. Last year was fine showing a lot of the stuff being made with CGI Trailers but we really need to see tangible stuff. Tired of “Games are coming from XGS just wait” for the past 2 years (NOT COUNTING XGP STUFF or Games from acquisitions).

Well, if they want to a full reveal closer to launch… there’s zero point of giving us a another teaser trailer at E3.
Like no one wants to see that.

I don’t get why a Starfield trailer would be a mistake, we are not entitled to demand a 30m demo, expecially during covid and moreso if the game is not releasing this year. Anyway, we shall see, I find useless to doomposting 1 month before with no evidence.

We’re entitled to a 30 minute demo because Todd has repeatedly promised even during the height of pandemic, that we’d only see starfield again with a complete deep dive of gameplay and story…
Plus if you think about it if MS didnt buy Bethesda their first 2 years would light with games cause people are now saying Hellblade 2 Everwild and Avowed are coming in 2023

Especially since he said he is not even sure about what he heard.
Surely MS doesn’t just have Halo and Forza Horizon 5 for this year, if they do I’m expecting them doing something big to make up for it, could be the Battlefield 6 in Game Pass day 1.

True too. He heard it, can’t confirm it. Things can change, if it’s even true at all.
I’m not even mad, if it does end up being a trailer it will probably be like the first Fallout 4 trailer. It didn’t show gameplay, it did show ingame footage of the world.
Hopefully the real showcase won’t be like end of the year, but we’ll see. Let’s wait and see what Jeff is going to say, I put much more stock in what he says.

This would be the most disappointing outcome. Halo gameplay, Forza reveal with gameplay and…a 2nd teaser for Starfield… you could wrap this up in an hour if you filled the rest up with The Gunk and other Game Pass day one indie launches.

Yeah, Starfiled is totally the only thing we are waiting for. We don’t know it’s March either for that matter.

I think it will be a bit longer than that. My guess is they wait for the time when they can show the game without creating a demo for it.
Right now it could be that the game is not ready to be shown.
