Theyre not gonna cancel a whole main game update
Fable, Perfect Dark, and Everwild will all be out by December 31, 2023.

Iām not sure I believe that yet for Perfect Dark (I know thatād be five+ years) but I definitely agree on the other two.
Thinking Everwild in 2022, Fable in 2023 and PD in 2024 right now but maybe some are further ahead than I think.

Considering that it was only officially confirmed in December, itād be pretty amazing if it came out before 2024.
Before he left Drew Murrayās daughter played an hour of Perfect Dark one night. He tweeted about it.

Yes perfect dark and fable and avowed and everwild will all be out by the end of 2023 no doubt about that

I mean, Iāve played games that were āPlayableā even in their ridiculous early state, but if you have a super really early polished section, throw a snip.

When the game is playable from start to finish, it could still be a year from release. The last 10% of the development of a game take 90% of the time or something like that. It could be ready as soon as next year. I really hope it releases next year.

Agreed. And Iām hoping for holiday of next year for that one. Also feel like Fable has a shot at 2022 as well. After the blowback from Halo, I think they wonāt show much game play early. And if it means more time spent on the games to get them finished, Iām all for just cgi stuff until the last couple of months. With streamers, itās super easy to see game play when something launches now, get an idea what you like.

Or it could be a year or two after its release, ala Grounded.

PD is expected to be a big game like Gears or Halo with a full campaign, multiple modes, coop (maybe) and multiplayer. I donāt know how they will manage to get the whole package done in a full release. Iām thinking that it might be a service game with the multiplayer coming afterwards or something like that. Idk.
Itās kind of hard to imagine what will be the new Perfect Dark, as the old games were actually imagining the future we live now !!

In my head Xbox has a āFated Fourā of first party big hitters:
Hellblade 2, Everwild, Avowed and Fable. Bethesda, Halo and XGP not included (I know that might seem arbitraryā¦), these 4 have got to be the first 4 big ones we see right?

Ya those SHOULD be the next 4 BIG games besides halo, Bethesda, age of empire 4 and forza. I had previous expected 3 of them to release in 2022. Now Iām hoping for at least 2 to hit next year.
Iām expecting so much from these games, they have everything to be something else.
Hellblade 2, Everwild and Avowed will hit next year for sure.
