I just feel like I’ve been down this road before. Don’t get me wrong, I think for the most part 2018 and 2019 where great E3s and last year you had Covid and that will likely play a part in what we see this year. Not just from MS but from everyone. I just feel like the next one is always going to be the one that blows people away and then after the show it’s always oh well they where saving some stuff. I know there’s a strategy to that, I just don’t think it’s a good strategy at the start of a generation when you are trying to make up ground
depends on the content and how much impact will bring to the brand let’s say if there is a game by Kojima than definitely announce it this E3.
also i’m not saying to hide all of their content lol i’m just saying save one or two from several games for fall
man if i hear or read temper expectations before the show again…

The only question is IF we hear “Temper Expectations” is it to actually temper our expectations, or are the pulling the Greenburg Gambit ™ of lowering our expectations to blow us away (ALA TGA 2020)

Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re working with Capcom on multiple games. Lost Planet reboot would be smart. Sega as well, Creative Assembly’s next game being Xbox exclusive

It’s really telling I think. It feels like there is no pressure from Xbox to have Psychnauts 2 ready for an event or any deadline (we know It’s true).
Because there is just so many studios working on games at any given time now, that the schedule of releases makes itself. And when there is a drought, Phil can just pump out those third party deals on Game pass to fill the gap.
It’s really great to see that trust and understanding from a big company, because time is really precious for any studio, big or small.
