Did I hear this right? XGP is making Crackdown - The Musical with Cliffy? Wow, thats out of left field but equally awesome.
Jez is getting me too hyped up. Xbox really does need to continue itās momentum right now. They have been dominating the news cycles and itās slowly changing peoples views. Iāve been watching it first hand among family, friends and employees. Xbox has found themselves in this place where Sony canāt run away with it because they donāt have anything on store shelves so they can only out pace Xbox by how ever much they can out manufacture Xbox. So while everyone is waiting for consoles to become available they can keep these positive news stories and announcements coming and you might change the mind of people who would have immediately bought a PS5 but wasnāt able to snag one. I personally know 3 people that this has happened with. This was a very long winded way to say, even though they wonāt because they never do, show everything you can now. Dial up they hype, string together between Xbox and Bethesda 3 hours of pure awesome and then let the message be all this awesome is 10$ a month. If itās ready to show gameplay show it, If you have Banjo, and Crackdown and a Fromsoft game or whatever it is, if you got a trailer show it. Thatās what i hope to see from them just a flat out amazing presentation where at the end you are hyped through the roof that you either bought an Xbox or you are now definitely getting one.
That being said, these always end up getting hyped up too much and under delivering so Iām going to dial back expectations until proven otherwise.
Thatās the thing, Jez seems to be going full bore into this, and Jez is usually one of temper expectations. Whatever heās hearing behind the scenes must really impress him to keep doing this. Heās been doing it all day.
