I miss the days when big games came out in months other than September, October, or November.

Is there a problem between SEGA/ Xbox ?

take out Sega, put Atlus.

No, but Atlus seems to have some. I don’t know why SEGA can’t whip them in line.

Also, wrong thread.

Played Gears Judgment back in 2013 on X360, didn’t know if the Campaign is awful? But remember I liked & liked team Kilo, liked the side missions located between the missions, was a nice addition <3 also was the most Gears game play it … I think the game was fine as a spin-off installment something Xbox don’t do now.

Every now and then I can’t help myself from asking this question:

Xbox, when you’ll bring back this game?

Because it will be on Game pass ! (:crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:) ()

I had not read the latest Halo information yet, but just watched a new video by Gameranx and they said that 343 made it clear the game is not open world, that it’s more inspired by Silent Cartographer and that they’ve said it’s still a fairly linear game, despite some side objectives. You’re going to be centered in specific areas with many ways to tackle these missions.

This is exactly what I wished they were going for! Awesome.

But if reviews were not going to change what difference would that make?

SoT problem was only the score but that became utterly irrelevant with the game being a success from the get go.

343 dodged the open world question so it’s not entirely accurate im guessing it’s open world with the typical linear story missions

I’d love linear story modes between open world areas similar to the Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raider games.

That’s what I’m assuming it does make sense with their wording about the golden path story missions while having a big emphasis on this massive world to explore

With Infinite, I could see the them having your progress through the main missions also serve as a mechanic that opens up more of the world to explore. And there being cool things to find and random fights to be had. I don’t expect any traditional Open World tropes like scattered mission givers and tons of side quests and vendors and stuff like that. Obviosuly that wouldn’t even make sense, narratively. Another typical aspect of Open World games is Fast Travel Points. Which is another thing I don’t think 343 will include. I think they’d much rather you drive, fly or run to get where you want to go
