Hivebusters will be what I play first when I get the Series X on Monday. Looking forward to it.
Yeah they are all rare achievements for it. The DLC has been phenomenal, on the last chapter rn.

Is this really a surprise? Microsoft hasnāt been any good marketing their games since Xbox 360.
Its a 3 hour dlc that adds nothing new besides a backstory.
Battletoads had better marketing than Hivebustersā¦
Battletoads is a full game, reboot of a 20 + years old franchise. Hivebusters will be played in the long run by Gears fan and people experimencing the game, Itāll be played by more than a million people.
I much rather see marketting for Battletoads than Hivebusters.
(And I like Hivebusters, I find main Gears 5 campaign better but it was a really good 3 hours story action packed experience⦠But Battletoads 2020 is better )
Sad but true. Always seems like Microsoft tends to market the games that arenāt exactly of the highest quality while ignoring those that are. Basically, the opposite. Itās weird.
My point is Iād like to see marketing for both. Hivebusters is a great showcase for the Series X and shows Microsoft can build tight third person experiences.
Battletoads was a fun game and I think Dlala deserve praise for what theyāve done with it. And I hope they can make a sequel.

I think they will, it reach one million players in a little more than 2 months, which for Battletoads is really good.
Hivebusters is really a tech showcase for both Xbox One and Series family of console. Coalition will use Gears 6 or their next game to make a power demonstration. I think Hivebusters should have been shown at TGA, but I believe Xbox was afraid of the āflop effectā of showing a DLC trailer at the conference. By the end of the day, I think Hivebusters is doing just fine and press has been praising the DLC well enough for marketting it.

Halo Infinite has already been everywhere and that is just the stuff they couldnāt stop as it was too far along. Going to be insane next October/November for it.
With Halo they always go all out⦠I predict the TV Show will be used as a big marketing tool.
If the show will be good people will sub like crazy to gamepass. The Witcher show lead to a great increase in sales for games and books
Itās the perfect example of the reason Xbox needs a seasonal Nintendo Direct-style show. Hivebusters is not big enough enough to get TV ads, but you roll that trailer on a 20-minute Xbox spotlight show everyone is tuned in for and get some attention on it.
Just started hivebuster, and its crazy that only 2% have actually started it. I wonder if itās the case of people not checking out DLC for games
