Yeah, basically for the same price, give them much more than what they have and bolster even more your Game pass Ultimate subscriber number.

I think this is what we’ll be seeing as well with the Zenimax MMOs. Selfishly, as a Fallout 1st member, I hope that’s the case as it would save me an extra chunk of change over a year (desperately needed the junk storage space since I love to build).

Microsoft’s offerings are so insanely good that I reached a point in which I’m expecting Office 365 to be bundled on GPU lol

I think they want to get as many people as possible in Game Pass Ultimate by being very aggressive with their offering. I think once they reach a certain point, they will get rid of Gold subscription.

Would have always been very surprising if Microsoft was only in talks with EA about including ea play but not in talks with ubisoft about their service. Still have my doubts on how it actually comes about, whether its included at no additional cost , whether they make a lower tier ala what EA has, or if it will be like they have done with Amazon Luna and it will be an optional upcharge ala cable packages for a cheaper price than just paying 15 for it.
Could easily see it launch on xcloud and not console or PC btw. They want to build their cloud gaming service. Would also make sense for ubisoft to generate hype around their service for when it finally hits console.

Xbox Platform fee is 30% So $4,5 per $15
I assume Microsoft could add Ubisoft+ for $10 extra as a nice incentive for Ubisoft. Otherwise I expect more of a EA Play vault thing.

Honestly, Im not sure if this is really happening. But, I never thought that this supposed partnership with Ubisoft+ would bring, for example, Farcry 6 or AC Valhalla to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It is most likely what Klobrille is saying, what can happen. 
With the adding other subscription services to game pass one thing to consider is what the xbox CFO was talking about from that panel thing. That they already have a two way relationship with all these publishers because of the platform licensing fees that come withe selling games on xbox.
So what I think they might be doing is saying to EA let us include EA play into game pass and we will give you a better cut of the profits from anything you sell on the xbox platform. This way everyone is happy, EA is incentivised to put ea play on game pass for no, or a low payment, and gets a better revenue share agreement, and Microsoft gets to bolster game pass for not a ton of money. They make up whatever revenue shortfall that has occurred because of the better cut that EA is getting with gamepass subscriptions and everyones happy
ALSO: this is why things like rainbow 6 siege are added to gamepass, it lets publishers make their games ‘free to play’ without actually making them ftp. And potentially get a larger install base for microtransactions.
