Pete Hines confirmed Wolfenstein III a while back on his Twitter account and it’s a cross-gen title so I can see it being 2021. Starfield is current gen only and I would think that Microsoft would start their current gen only games in 2022.
Funny enough i was playing Gamepass when it happen and got disconnected looks like it happening worldwide we should all get 1 free Game as compensation lol

I think MS push Wolfenstein III till next year. This will kickstart the one AAA game every quarter.
Wolfenstein gonna be the first game out from Zeninax so doubt that gets delayed to 2022.

I agree. Assuming Halo and Starfield are locked in, the last piece of the puzzle is the Forza situation
If Forza Motorsport doesn’t hit in 2021 then FH5 won’t hit til 2023…thats 2 studios going from 2 year turn arounds to 5 year…just doesn’t happen. Makes more sense for Turn 10 to take time, time to rebuild Forza Tech for next gen…which coming 2022 is fine.
And Playground can spend 3 years making FH5 for 2021 (which is 50% longer then any previous game) and get to work on FH6 using the latest engine for another game in 2024 or 2025.

Those 3 games and 3rd parties are more then enough for 2021 (plus Flight Sim and Psychonauts 2) Wolfenstein 3 would be better served next year.
Did anyone Watch the State of Play? Deathloop looks great, looking forward to playing it day 1 on gamepass in 6ish months.

6ish months? I’m afraid make that a year. Freaking Sony had to make that a year exclusive and also Ghostwire. Mofos even tried it for Starfield.
Both deathloop and ghostwrire where supposed to be 2020 games. So that tells me the plan for starfield and Wolfenstien 3 where planned for 2021. Whether those two get pushed to 2022 idk. But I think it’s clear that they where both meant for 2021.

I think smart delivery is a blessing that gets underlooked. So happy we don’t have to deal with the confusing mess going on on the other platform.
Also deathloop looks really good. Arkane is a gem.
I watched. Sifu looked cool. Other than that - nothing interesting. Deathloop looked like Dishonored with slighlty better graphics. FF graphics looked cool. Almost CG level.
Still MS should prevent such time exclusivity. It is hilarious how despite buying the whole Bethesda, Sony still succeeded getting time exclusivity contracts. Yeah, if they got Starfield exclusivity it would be a disaster.

That why I said ish, has it been confirmed to being a year? Kena is also a timed exclusive and that also looks good. To be honest I like the look of deathloop, but I would not buy it full price. A years wait and day 1 on gamepass seems like a worthwhile trade off. I just wish Sony would stop money hatting these AAA games, they don’t need to.
