At this point will people care when Starfield and ES6 have been exclusive during this time?
You have a point there. But Iâm definitely interested, because why was it only Xbox partying when that news came?
The gameplay is fun to a degree but its not an assassins creed game in the slightest, the mercenary system is god awful and the story is terribly long/not interesting.
Beautiful world tho.
I thought the story was at least decent and fun to follow but we getting off topic
To be honest, I actually prefer towers. I do think that it should be limited to ONE per region and when you synchronize the viewpoint, thatâs when the â?â icons should appear. This is what I prefer. I donât want to know whatâs there but I do want to know that something is there.
Black Flag remains my best AC game followed by Rogue and im hoping the rumors of a smaller AC game developed by Ubisoft Sofia who did Rogue are true. Because while I love AC, itâs getting ridiculous at this point in regards to how big the open world is.
In a way, neither is Origins. Theyâre more of an RPG than a traditional AC game. I actually enjoyed the story and characters in Odyssey a lot. The mercenary system wasnât good though. I agree with this and prefer the Phylakes from Origins.
Should be no reason a modern Assassins Creed game takes longer than 40 hours to finish (Origins length aprox).
I played Origins for over 100 hours. lmao. Of course, I do traverse on foot most of time in open world games. My ideal is a 40 hour main story campaign and 20 hours for the side stuff.
I mean yeah Origins has a lot of content if you choose to pursue it but you can beat the story in a normal time frame along with meaningful side content.
How long do you want Fable to be and what kind of OW should it have?
what do you mean what type OW? What are the options haha
oh and campaign can be 40-50 hours and Iâll be super satisfied. Other side stuff and âpost-gameâ can add another 20-30 if needed. Nothing over 100 plz, Fable is not that game imo. Fable should be âbeing able to do more things in the same worldâ more so than âjust a laaaarge ass world hence scaling how many things to do to accomodate for that largenessâ
Some operations 6 details for Gears 5 in the Gears thread
Big and less detailed , Medium and detailed, smaller and very detailed
Hub sections, one open map etcâŚ
Agreed.
I want the open world to be like The Witcher 3 (realistic) but in the world of Albion. Would love the story campaign to be around 50 quests that clocks in around 40+ hours. No collectibles or any of this other garbage. Just give me a few fun activities to do and side quest character quest lines like in Ghost of Tsushima. Total around 80 hours in a gorgeous realistic open world and im good.
I want whatever RDR was - one map, interconnected naturalistic world rich in flora and fauna, bustling cities with their own unique identity, culture, problems, so on.
I want it to be a mix of grounded and fantastical (but leaning towards the latter), a full day/night cycle, several biomes with their own ecosystems. And this is not necessary but will be nice to see - a fully functioning weather/seasons system (an advanced version of what FH4 did) that affects all of these above things and provide new gameplay opportunities.
Unlike what some others have suggested, I do NOT want this game to be a Witcher 3.
This is where AI could come in handy to create a better open world, with better NPCs.
Iâd like a 15-20 hour Fable, similar in story length to The Outer Worlds but more dense in terms of content and world building with the extras.
Donât think thats the problem lol.
It will help make the game feel more alive and not the samey
Could this right here be a tease of a future announcement?
I canât remember a game with that cover.
EDIT Itâs from Sekiro, thanks @CryOn.
