How could it be wrong when it is without question the best game Rare ever made and the best Xbox ever published?

… go at explaining how the new machines could be used to make a better game than the old machines? Is in terms of scope, for instance could the Series X power a legitimate city sized sandbox with a million NPCs all going about their daily life? Or Battlefield with 200 per side instead of 40? Is it in terms of AI, where enemies will be able to learn your tactics and ways to defeat you, like a chess supercomputer? If the answer is just graphics and load times, then besides the time to implement two versions (one with better assets/more particles) then making a version of the game for Xbox One doesn’t seem that much of a burden or holding anything back. If, however, making a One version is limiting the size of games or the intelligence of the AI, then we should scrap the Xbox One versions today.

Maybe. As long as OG Xbone owners are happy with potato mode…and from a PR perspective, the base game gets released 2 weeks after the next gen and PC version, so review scores don’t get tanked by the older hardware.

It actually is lol. Phil Spencer has come out and said Microsoft needs more E rated games and Viva Piñata would be perfect IP to bring back for that, because the two previous games were really good.

Yep. And on top of that, there is no game that a better fit for xCloud. Being able to access your garden anywhere you’re at? It’s a dream come true.

I don’t know every thing that a more powerful CPU enables, but i believe things like more interactivity, destruction, physics all fit the mold.

I remember with Shadow of Mordor the 360 version didn’t come with Nemesis engine, ie the main function of the game, so maybe we will begin to see games released with just the bare bones for XOne

I say they have approximately 70~75 people. On linkedin of TI it says 67, but not all employees have an account or are registered there. And they have the full support of other XGS colleagues and more help from other Support Studios, if any.

That’s amazing! I think they need around 200 for high Quality production plus outsourcing. I hope the game comes out in two years, but even more I hope it’s an amazing game.

For those saying Starfield probably won’t be next year because it’s Halo Infinite time in November. But if the game is ready, there should be no stopping them of releasing it any month next year except November. Yes even December, why not?

Sony after all this year dropped TLOU2 in I think it was June and July had Ghost? And I don’t think either suffered from it. I want Starfield for next year so bad, 2022 sounds so damn far away. And there’s no telling if that’s early 2022 or end of 2022.

I want Starfield next year too but after playing Cyberpunk, I’m ok if they need more time to polish. The state of that game is at points unacceptable.

I’m serious. If some people loves JRPGs or action adventure games or family games, why they would be interested in Xbox?

One JRPG every 3-4 years from external publishing or a theoretical JRPG studio wouldn’t change the fact that Xbox is not the platform for big fans of the genre

People need to stop acting like they’re understand developpement or like they work at 343i. If 343i relese Halo Infinite on Xbox One and Series X, it’s because they can make a great version on both console.

Precisely, everyone points to Cyberpunk and says “if CDPR can’t do it then no one else should”, whilst forgetting how long it took Witcher 3 to be somewhat optimized and how 343 has a history of doing extremely well with their optimizations on the Xbox 360 and XOne.
