I think the hardcore gamer has to accept that it’s not just about new game releases anymore. People like to play the games they already love, and seeing all the free next-gen updates on Xbox Series X|S and the most played games charts, people love to receive new and exciting content to existing games. And these are reason enough to get a next-gen console on its own already.

Even though I agree with the rest of your post, this is a moot point. Of course older games will dominate most played charts when there aren’t new games, right? If there were some hot new games out there, then that would be a valid point.

Both are good. Can’t believe people actually wish for Prey (2017) to not have sequel. Also Roundhouse Studios can make a sequel to the other Prey even if its not called Prey 2.

Prey 2006 is one of my favorite shooters. New Prey is good too, but I prefer 2006. Still, it’s kinda an apples to oranges comparison.

I liked the game and it seamed to be pretty successful but enough to warrant a multi platform sequel?

I would much rather that along side avowed that they made either a fallout new Vegas remake or sequel or a new KOTOR.
