This can be interpreted in many ways. Console makers as in MS, Sony, Nintendo sometimes want exclusivity because they want their console to be special. Itās certainly Sonyās exclusives that make people want a PS console, but this guy says itās not the answer. I donāt know man, Iām not sure what he says here rules out other platforms like PS and Switch. Cross platform is exactly that, isnāt it? Console exclusive is exactly what it says, exclusive to that console. But those arenāt the answer?
I just donāt really get it. Ever since the new studios like Obsidian, NT it has been quiet. Everyone accepted that these new games would be Xbox exclusive, nobody cared. Why canāt the man just straight up say exclusives DO matter for your ecosystem? Maybe itās just me.

Itās going to be hilarious how much FUD will come from this just from people who donāt know what Gwertzman does. Gwertzman is the guy who runs Playfab and im assuming this comes from the interview a few days ago celebrating the annivarsary of it. Playfab by itās very nature is a toolset designed to be a multiplat endeavour so heās dealing with third parties more often than not and has no input on the XGS side of things. He doesnāt even work for Xbox, he works for Microsoft proper.

At least we know that Bethesda deal has to be approved by four weeks from today.
Hopefully after that, all this bullshit goes away and we get real answers.

I just watched a new video by Dealer. He said Sony this year will make investments in new studios too, just like how they bought Insomniac. You can bet your ass that none of those games will see the light of day on Xbox, and thatās just how the whole exclusivity āgameā works. People with only an Xbox will miss out on these games, it is what it is, and it would be batshit crazy if MS isnāt going to do the same. So much has already been said about this, letās hope for some simple, crystal clear language this year.

Has to be, otherwise I just donāt know wtf they are doing. Because even though MS has never said specifically that Avowed, Hellblade 2 (of which the first one was first on PS4) wonāt come to other systems, itās crystal clear it wonāt. They are Xbox Series and PC only. But now because it concerns a Bethesda title itās different? Naw.
Would absolutely be nuts, not in a good way, when sometime in the future during a E3 Sony announces a brand new IP by Insomniac or letās say for example Kojima Studios (just as assumption) gets announced, of course only for PS5 and then Xbox announcesā¦TES VI for example and itās multiplatform. Nah fam.
Donāt see that happening at all.
