It can go anywhere from there. But one thing you can be sure of, as soon as the deal is finalized the media will jump on MS immediately and hopefully this time we get a much more clear answer.
For all we know Bethesda has nothing new to announce this year, nothing on Starfield nor Wolfenstein 3…if that were the case is there any real need for Xbox to talk about it? Except for the fans that would like to know, and of course those that don’t have a Xbox, and want clarity if it’s still planned for other platforms.

Closing our deal with Microsoft will be a bittersweet moment for all of us. But I take comfort in knowing that our Company is and will be in the capable hands of Robert’s friends. And I know that we will continue to honor his legacy by making the world’s greatest games for our fans.

That was beautiful!
And the last part about Microsoft being their new home, you can just notice how genuine it all is. It’s telling that Altman never wanted to be acquired unless it was a truly good home.
