Guys, it’s accelerating. Tencent shall be one of the biggest publishers in gaming in the coming decade and they’re making huge strides to enter the global market, and snatching away talent from big established studios. Soon, we shall have to contend the fact that these Chinese games are not just some mobile gacha but something that can also be AAA and can penetrate gaming discourse and discussions around GOTY and all that, the industry shall have to start accommodating for this new paradigm and it’s interesting to see what happens.

I look forward to be able to raise my Social Credit score!

I don’t know…his last game Devils Third was universally panned by critics.

I’ve heard it’s not as bad as reviews indicate, but I’ve not played it.

Watch some of the video reviews on this game is all I can really say. I just remember this game being laughably bad. Scott The Woz did a video review about a year ago on it. Microsoft was originally going to publish it but pulled out, then THQ, then a korean company and finally Nintendo for the wii u version.

The majority of this “billion devices” is concentrated in the Asian Market, and they still haven’t even mentioned a release date for Xcloud for many of these regions. Hope they do that soon.

Xcloud: North America and Europe, I think it is close to 1 billion. Xcloud already exists in South Korea. Japan, Brazil and others are being tested. Will also reach TVs and PCs.

I’ve seen it a lot. I think it looks terrible. I’m just saying, not everyone agreed with that.

Regardless, I don’t think one bad game ruins a game forever.

It’s hard to gauge Itagaki based on a Wii-U exclusive game with a (probably) smaller budget. I have doubts about his abilities going forward, but with enough resources and support, I would love to see what he comes up with.

No offense but lol at “he got tired of not getting games” Crap was a fanatical Xbox fanboy back when there were only 5 or 6 studios tops and weaker hardware, then all of a sudden when MS starts buying up studios and putting out more powerful consoles he’s a hardcore Sony guy who bashes Xbox.

In truth he realized that bashing Xbox gets more views and that’s all there is to it. ( well actually now that I think about it, Phil Spencer snatching his soul on Twitter may also be a factor)This also goes for lol MBG. These guys have as much knowledge of gaming as I do brain surgery.
