Yes! But only if they do it in a non contrived way and not shoehorned in just to say āhey were the same guys who made seasons in FH4 remember how that was cool?ā. Iād want it to affect the life and ecology as per the seasons, different creatures coming out only during certain times, these creatures and plants having their own cycles that youād have to learn about. Iād want it to affect the way you traverse, something Forza Horizon 4 had too, in the way winter froze up the water areas to explore and take all kinds of shortcuts lol. Itā gonna be hard to balance all these systems. But the rumor that the game shares the same engine as Forza makes me believe there shall be a lot of tech sharing and some feature overlap between the two franchises.
If I had to say no to seasons in fable, itād be for the same reason, that itād be too easy to make it contrived and easily get the scope of the game way outta whack. On some level, it would also appear too restrictive, like even in Fable, Playground is married to ideas and things they did in Forza and not truly getting to outgrow that legacy into something new.

I am one of those stupid people who bought it and never touch it. I have the xone version and the upgraded version on my ready to install list. So the upgraded version is a separated game. I donāt know if the new next gen version is on the install list via game pass or will be added at a later date. If itās not the case and you donāt want to buy the next gen version I think you can play it. I hope this helps somehow with your decision.
I just want to see what Arkane Austin has been cookingā¦ After all rumours about it, itās my most expected title EVER
