It’s up on Xbox Live?
Guys? ![]()
Thanks, but someone else on here had already started the list earlier today, I just updated it with a few more.
Tbh it’s so fast to start up you don’t really need to have it in stand-by/instant-on anymore.
Yeah it’s up now on the shop app. Tempted by Control ultimate edition for £17.49 as it comes with the season pass and next gen upgrade early next year and I haven’t played it yet.
Yeah I think you have to play in performance mode to get 60 fps.
Awwww man
I already said it here, Microsoft urgently needs to adjust or make changes to its gaming PR team as soon as possible. They are very incompetent with their games. See, they have fantastic IPs announced, Hellblade 2, Psychonauts 2 etc. And where are they? Nobody mentions anything, there are no advertisements and posts scattered around. Fans do an infinitely better job than they do. This is disturbing. At least, I think.
I agree. I’m not gonna call for anyone to lose their job like some people do for Mr. Greenberg, but they definitely need new ideas. Inside Xbox seems to be gone, which is good. But they gotta replace it with someone snappier and more consequential ASAP.
Why would they be doing a paid marketing campaign on a game that isn’t going to be out for a while just so it will be forgotten in a couple days as news cycles get shorter and shorter.
Jfc, the inexperience here makes a lot of people seem to be just overgrown children.
Take it down a notch…
I would keep Inside Xbox and use it like Sony uses State of Play for their individual games. Like for example, Inside Xbox presents: Halo Infinite. A 20-30 minute gameplay overview of Halo Infinite uploaded (not live streamed) 30-60 days before the game actually releases.
I love this format that Sony and Nintendo do. It’s brilliant, cost efficient and extremely effective. I would love to see Microsoft do the same thing for their first party titles and have Inside Xbox “minis” where they showcase AA/Indie games like The Ascent, Bright Memory Infinite, etc. Sadly though, I don’t see Microsoft/Spencer doing this at all because I believe that if they wanted to do it, they would have done so already.
This! So much this!
Inside Xbox epsiodes produced to appeal to a global audience, remove the American game show feel/car salesman schpiel, and make proper deep dives into upcoming games etc.
Make something for adults.
Who is not seen is not remembered. Yesterday, people being extremely negative with the Xbox, complaining about the “lack” of games etc. Maybe if Hellblade 2 for example, if it was being rubbed in our face, maybe people would be less unpleasant and try to look to the future and focus on what really matters.
That’s exactly what I’m proposing, but the name “Inside Xbox” has to go. It’s too tainted now.
There would be no studio, no people being shown and saying stupid lame jokes no one cares about. No gimmicks or any of that crap. Just an overview gameplay trailer with someone who developed the game talking over like a narrator. Same as what State of Play was for Tsushima, etc.
My suggestion would be XBOX DIRECT. Yeah, it’s a copy. I don’t fucking care. The content and quality would be there which is what I do care about. That’s my suggestion if the name was to be changed.
Yep.
I don’t mind something to frame it in though, as long as it is not so…fake. I would love some pre-recorded interviews etc.
That would be fine. So would “Xbox Showcase” which is what they used for the July show.
I’d put Major Nelson in front of a green screen to intro and bounce between segments, just like the Nintendo guy.
“That looked great. Now, Here’s what’s coming to Game Pass this month!”
“Those new backwards compatible games bring back memories. Now, let’s take a deeper look at ExoMecha!”
That kinda thing.
Do the interviews in advance (well, the whole show should be in advance, really) and put them up as separate videos for the people who want them. If there’s a 20-30 highlite to slide in the show, cool.
