Diablo in third-person action adventure, in the style of Souls games, could be epic. Especially with all the different class builds and boss enemies. Thinking about second party developers, like Deck13 or Hexworks (Lords of the Fallen).
Damn, as much as I’m tired of the Souls games, this is an idea I could get behind.
Infinite is already at 10k on Steam again and steadily climbing up. Curious to see if it beats the 18k peak today
Microsoft nearly has 5 of the top 10 most played games on Xbox
COD #3
Starfield #5
Forza Motorsport #7
Minecraft #8
Forza Horizon 5 #11
I’m really curious what they’re cooking up. I do think WoW for consoles is inevitable but I also think that it’ll be a while. Not only does it seem like Kotick was never keen on the idea but I think Phil won’t want to mess with the launch of FFIV on Xbox after all the work that went into bringing it to the system.
Final Fantasy IV is coming to Xbox?!?! Maybe there’s hope for Final Fantasy VI (my favorite of all FF)!

I’m not a dev so I don’t know if this game can get truly redeemed, but I hope it’s a small part of the team and that they start their next big game.
I might well be wrong but I just think that a true redemption arc will be a lot of time and cost with no real gain. I just can’t imagine you have a big community wanting to play a this in a year - I don’t think in reality anyone wants to play it now.
Whilst fixing games is a positive there is also the issue of not wanting Xbox to become the ‘release it then fix it’ publisher and therefore I would suggest this one is best put to bed.
Damn. Never expected FM to be ahead of FH5

Remind me of those days where everyone was accused to be paid off for advertising Game Pass. Well, now you can make a reality!
They just have to make it as good as shown in the teaser gameplay videos
It can.
If we’ve learned anything over the last few years, it’s that ANY game can be redeemed.
Probably not to the extent of a No Man’s Sky or Cyberpunk, but still.
We’re definitely past the point of games being shown and not coming out for four or five years.
If they show a game, it’s coming in 1-2 years max.
Bethesda is the redemption company : Fallout 4, Fallout 76, ESO, etc
They would be surprised to launch a game in a good state.
Microsoft is also a redemption company. Windows has a redemption arc for 25 years. If you do not call it redemption, you can call them the patch company for sure.
Most of Bethesda’s games launch absolutely fine.
I also reject the idea that Fallout 4 needed redemption. It wasn’t as well received as other BGS games, but it was still very highly reviewed and successful.
They hardly if not ever quit on their games, that I can say.
Agreed, this isn’t a game worth putting so much time in to “save”, with things like 76 or FF14 it made sense because they were GaaS with MTX whales and have a big community
Redfall is not like this whatsoever and the amount of work that would have to go into this, it is simply not worth it, the game has way bigger issues than just 60fps or the actual gameplay
It’s simply not worth the amount of effort, time and resources it would take to make for the little they would gain
Release your 2 character DLC thing along with some more updates with it and call it a day, if they want a redemption story they can go back to what they are actually good at with Prey or Dishonored or something similar and all will be forgiven if it’s good
As long as it’s Roundhouse and not Arkane Austin redeeming Redfall, they can do whatever they like
(I want ArkAus moving on to a new project ASAP so they can win back good will.)
This I agree with, if it’s one of the smaller studio like Roundhouse doing the brunt of the work then hey, have at it
But I want Arkane to move on asap and hopefully get a new game out before next gen starts
