Why would they give up on the “unique experience stuff” when it’s given them their most successful game in SoT?
Honestly, I think SoT has the ability to blend in with different media within the pirate wheelhouse, which help with the experience. Being a pirate also is something that’s easy enough to work into so many different adventure stories as it’s been done for centuries in many different ways.
I can’t really think of any media that Everwild though doesn’t seem to have anything other than, art style and animals going for it. I also can’t think of any gameplay loop that would be something that can draw a similar crow to SoT, as they haven’t shown much beyond communing with animals and traveling so far.
edit: For example, SoT can announce a space pirate expansion and it could be a Treasure Planet Crossover taking place in a new zone, that can open up the game to more stories and genres.
I don’t think we know enough about Everwild to jump to conclusions about anything. We don’t know what the goal of the game is, whether or not there is an adversary, etc.

Halo fans bitch about a lot of shit but I seriously doubt they would bitch about Gundam armor pieces in the game.

Yeah, I feel they ccan never satisfy Halo fans and that has been a detriment for growing the franchise. Halo fans talk a big game, but they’re fickle. I feel their fan base doesn’t want franchise to grow and remain stagnant like they would probably get angry about a Gundam or Transformers collab lol
I think for the next Halo game 343 just needs to do what they feel is right and not fully cave in to Halo fans because I feel Halo fans don’t know what they really want

I’ve never played Warzone before, is it just Battle Royale? I’m not really a fan of the mode.
As long as BLOPS 6 has zombie mode, Im in.
It has other modes, but yeah, the main game is BR. It can have TDM at times, which I do hop in at times.

I’m under the impression that Project Mara was going to be more like Gone Home.
I think it’s something new the sound seems to be something very important and the realism also we hear the breathing and the heartbeat of the character in the trailer and he seems to be observed by a shadow which moves a through reflections, mirrors seem important in Hellblade 2. Senua fights with a mirror, we see pieces of mirrors and mirror enemies which are synonymous with the reflection of the soul I think that mirrors and reflective surfaces will be very important in Project Mara
At the end we can see Melina looking in a mirror
