We may never get mods, but the adventure modes that keep being made for Minecraft are really good.
That’s what Booty said they were planning on doing and they’re already doing so.
Yeah is what I was trying to say. Like, for example, Tango and Platinum games working together in HF 2 and things like that
“When you first saw Halo, were you blinded by its majesty? Paralyzed? Dumbstruck?”
Halo Infinite did boost to 20 somehow in Most Played before new update. It was hovering at 25.

And another one.
It fell to as low as #25 in early January, but has been gradually climbing back in recent weeks, one position at a time. Really interested to see how the new update schedule impacts the popularity of the game long term.
is Age of Mythology Retold coming to Xbox on Day One?
Very doubtful, MS usually release console ports after some time (years, considering AoE games) for its pc-focused games. Maybe this one will be faster, but I don’t think it will be concurrent.
Oh age of mythology. Looking forward to that on my laptop while I travel
Bit of a necro post, but as a lover of interactivity in video games, I can’t help but agree. These systems are seemingly a big strain on the performance, but in the case of Starfield didn’t really add much to the core experience (compared to Skyrim).
So I think BGS has a choice to make, they either drop these systems and focus on more traditional production values, or they double down and really showcase how these interactive systems can add to the experience. For example: by adding more physics puzzle, by creating secret area that you discover whilst interacting with the environment and generally by showcasing the interactivity in quest design.
I personally want BGS to double down on it.
Very close to my thoughts.
I’d rather they do this than go the opposite direction, make it even more immersive sim like
Iv already said it before though, I feel like Starfield doesn’t benefit from the physics and interactivity as much as a Skyrim or Fallout does, 1000 fairly empty worlds doesn’t allow you the same kind of interaction that those kind of games do and there’s no reason to believe ES6 is going to be more like Starfield than Skyrim or other ES games
Did you build outposts? Or more importantly, did you build habs in those outpost and decorate them?
Cause without interactivity and object permanence that part of the game would suffer significantly which would be a huge shame.
I also don’t really care for puzzles in these kinds of games, so adding those in to justify keeping the current system isn’t something that interests me.
It’s primarily the freedom of roleplay that these system allows for that makes me love this game to the extent I do. With Cyberpunk-esque gameplay Starfield would still be good, just not as great as it is now. It has become my favourite game of all time, and I’m positive it wouldn’t have done so without these systems.
That part of the game is impressive, I spent hours decorating my apartment and the fact that I can place any object wherever I want and it still being there all the time is mad impressive. However, I know this is a low use scenario that most players probably don’t touch, and is a huge strain on engine resources, so there’s really a conversation there to be had maybe ditching those deep physics and developing NPC animations and having a seamless world would’ve really improved the game’s perception.
Overall Starfeld is a technically impressive game, the amount of overlaying systems and stuff that they fit in one game is applaudable and you can tell a lot of devs can see it and are impressed with it, but unfortunately a lot of what’s impressive is underneath and isn’t very communicable to most players because most players only see visuals & animations as indication of impressive technology.
I see we’re back to Starfield and Future Bethesda games need to do this to be successful and completely ignoring data points we have been given again.
It’s really annoying how so many people here talk about allowing devs to have creative freedom and then make these arguments like if Starfield flopped because of its mechanics. So Bethesda shouldn’t be allowed to make the games they want to make.
