I think part of the reason they are doing that is to appeal to your more casual player.
It is ironic though when you see loads of people playing something like power wash simulator (funnily enough it got the same IGN score as Starfield - 7/10).

That’s ridiculous. PowerWash Simulator deserved a 10.
It’s me, I’m the casual
And GOTY!!
Agreed. And inXile. Throw BioWare in there too if they can get their act together with Dreadwolf (I’m rooting for them).

Been watching some CoD Mobile gameplay randomly, not gonna lie, i’d play the shit out of that if it was on console
Looks way more appealing than all the recent console CoDs
You could always sync up your xbox controller to your phone/tablet and dominate.
It’s closest you can get to retro CoD.
Doesn’t sound too appealing then.
Sure looks like it, tried MW3 and it was ok, it had all the great MW2 maps but it felt like a shell of that
Mobile gives me classic CoD vibes which have been missing in this series for a very long time
What are ‘classic CoD’ vibes?
There is always like a broad definition of what classic CoD is supposed to be, never understood the statement.
probably pre black ops 2 or 3
New studio Shapeshifters are working with InXile on Clockwork Revolution
Nice, bodes well for the ambition of Inxile, Clockwork Rev is my most anticipated XGS game alongside Fable.
It would be really smart from MS if they partner with other studios to hel develop their games.
…? They literally have for years, and will continue to. That’d been a console-war point for years until people started reading their God of War credits.
Fallout 76 has been maintained by a completely different studio now since 2021, for example. No AAA title is made without external contractors/studios at this point.
I think @Jorge_Alexander_Acos means co-development with more renowned development studios and talents rather than just support studios, like Perfect Dark, Fable, and this? though at the same point what is the difference? it all can probably be called co-dev or support interchangeably.
