The - at least another - reason Xbox needs more studios is that Xbox has so many studios producing contents constantly that there is a moment where a portion of their workforce is not available to develop new games.

I remember about 20 years ago going to fry’s to buy half life 2. During game install I had to install something called steam just to play. Everyone used to hate steam the first few years. It’s hard to imagine back then that now there are steam fanboy’s. If xbox continues to improve the xbox app maybe they can get some sort of acceptance?

I retouched the contrast and brightness of the Hellblade Trailer to see a little more details of the environment because the trailer remains dark the amount of geometry is Incredible I have never seen that.

Seems like a good list. I hope they also have a surprise like they did last year, maybe not a shadow drop, but a reveal of the Fallout 3 Remaster or something similar coming later in the year (assuming those remasters are still being made).

I agree. The showcase would probably also show games with “2025” at the end like they did this past showcase for 2024 games.
Yeah, that’s possible but I don’t want a shadow drop because two years in a row would lead to this expectation every year and it won’t happen every year. Last year made sense because it was the first Developer Direct and good to start what will hopefully be an annual showcase with a big drop in Hi Fi Rush.

Last year, one of the announcement was an Elder Scrollls expansion, they may have that kind of Gaas news.
I think they should do it separately. I would like a Dev showcase on ongoing games in parallel to some dev showcase on new games. It is very debatable if boith should be mixed (there are pros and cons).
