It’s just a setting that the developer choose for their games. Maybe because they want to make a throwback game for HipHop Heads.
One thing we can be sure is that the soundtrack will be amazing. Just Blaze is one of the best.

That would actually be really cool. Hiphop nowadays is…it’s shit, has been for a long time now. The mainstream stuff that is, most of it. So this is very welcome. A game starring a old school, but real hiphop group. I’m hoping it’s great.
Honestly there are some really good HipHop artists out there. You have the famous ones like J. Cole or Kendrick Lamar, but others like JID, JPEGMAFIA or Freddie Gibbs are very good as well.

True, but Kendrick has lost me a while ago when he started with those weird voices, lol. But when I see what is “hot” today, oh man. 
If you want something more “classic” I would listen to someone like Freddie Gibbs, Run The Jewels or Big KRIT.

Probably because the folks making the game are old like us, haha. I do think that Wu Tang was a bit of a cultural phenomenon moreso than most music acts and the whole thing kinda fits well with a game as well though.

I remember playing that PS1 game, I think it was, wasn’t even into hiphop yet at the time. But I did see them live twice, they know how to bring a great show.
