Xbox Game Studios |OT12| The One with Starfield and Activision Blizzard King

I never really considered linear as being a critical part of what was missing. Games like Spiderman, Horizon, Tsushima are open world and I think those all fit into what Xbox fans have been asking for.

Wasn’t there a rumor quite a while ago that Bethesda was making something Marvel related? I’m probably way off, but I kinda seem to recall that.

Tom Henderson with a fresh Xbox leak.

Just Blaze is producing the soundtrack. This will be good.

If I buy CoD’s Valut Edition and the Blackcell DLC does that mean I get 40 skips?

Honestly a lot of stuff here sounds awesome and low-key like straight out of a PS2 era game (in a good way).

The Wu-Tang Clan’s involvement goes beyond just their music, too, as all nine Wu-Tang Clan members are also playable and act as the player’s limited-time buff that will give you ultimate moves, increased health, and more.

Gameplay sent to Insider Gaming under the condition that the footage doesn’t go public and the source remains anonymous shows an animation style somewhat similar to Into The Spider-verse. For example. one front flip with a slam attack contained 7-8 frames of animation.

Stuff sound cool. But studio pedigree and all, let’s wait and see.

These are ex-Bioware and Square Enix people who worked on Sleeping Dogs, it seems absolutely promising

I didn’t see where that’s posted, if that’s true then it’s good that there’s experienced people in the industry behind it.

I was wondering where this went. It sounds cool, but also something that I still find so…random I guess? Not meant in a negative way at all. But Wu-tang, they are great but they aren’t active much at all anymore. So it’s quite unexpected, but quite cool too. It sounds good!

Yes, you re right. Problem is timing. Is that project still on schedule? It can be I dont know

Arkane game and Licensed IP game wouldn’t be the same game, so it’s unlikely that licensed IP game is from Arkane.

It’s a interesting point you raise, for me personally I want the more linear Naughty Dog type games which hopefully Ninja Theory will provide, however I’m still open (pun intended) to the bigger open-world games assuming they go for quality rather than quantity which is usually the problem with these games (finding 500 collectibles isn’t fun!).

Maybe God of War / Gears 5 style where it’s almost linear open-world e.g. most of the time your forced down certain paths.

RE: Spider-Man I also feel Xbox need their own big Pop-Culture game like Batman, Star Wars, Transformers, Harry Potter etc.

I literally posted about this last week wondering what was happening with it - awesome :sunglasses:.

Monkey Paw: it’s the Blade main character for Redfall.

That would be very very depressing. lol

Blade would make sense from a pop culture timing perspective, since there should be a new movie with Mahershala Ali coming in 2025.

There was already a rumor of a Blade game being developed at Ubisoft, right?

At Bethesda, the licensed game is probably the Roundhouse game in the Marvel universe. The rumor suggested a PVPVE game. Take with a grain of salt of course. Roundhouse is a small team, I don’t expect a big project. I think a sort of MOBA in the Marvel universe would be an interesting idea.

This would be such a hype killer, I can get over being licensed but two vampire games back to back from both Arkane studios for a mid tier Marvel character isn’t exciting at all for me

The thing is…if Arkane is making a Blade game…he is definitely going to be in Redfall as a dlc.
