They just need to remake it like they did Crash and Spyro which they were great at. Don’t worry about creating a new game and getting the humor right, this is not a worry for now.

I don’t think fans want Remakes anymore. Microsoft seems against the desire to make Remakes; they think about innovation above all and Rare don’t want a Remake either. The Remake is the ease and kills the creativity of the industry. a Reboot like Fable and Perfect Dark would be the right thing to do for Banjo or Banjo Threeie
Everyone who wants Banjo to return wants a remake first, I’ve not seen one say they want a sequel right out the gate without the first two first being remade. An article from 2017 changes nothing, even ignoring the fact that he was just referring to games Rare would make, not ones that would be made by other studios.
Banjo Returns must hit like Mario Odyssey. Microsoft knows that Banjo is popular with Nintendo fans and that many adults will want the game because they are nostalgic. Banjo has the capacity to bring many Nintendo fans to the XBOX ecosystem, we must make a real challenger to Mario with new and innovative gameplay ideas without touching the code of the 3D platform.

I still think Gears For Breakfast could make a great Banjoo Kazooie game. I just don’t know if it would happen though.

Rumor has it a new Banjo has been in development for quite a while. I think Toys for Bob could make a fantastic Banjo, but we would be looking at a end of gen game if they were to make it.
There have been a rumor for a while now that Snake Pass studio Sumo Digital is making it. It would be perfect, I love Snake Pass.
