Xbox Game Studios |OT10| Here are the games

it probably stuff tied to the gamebro engine that can’t be 1:1 so probably think of the UE5 as the emulation engine but still have the original as the structure to hold it into place look what happened to GTA trilogy when they tried to port it to unreal a mess

It’s the same way other remasters like Halo Anniversary worked. Also Diablo 2 Resurrected used the old engine with a new graphics engine on top.

Copy that.

Leaked images that actually made the game look better instead of worse? What’s this?

Next quarter will break records even if they delayed Starfield to 2024. They’re absorbing ABK.

Don’t you jinx it now! :scream::wink:

Honestly, I don’t know. But maybe when it’s not some kind of stolen assets and only compatible with the script extender it should be ok ?

I believe there is a memory constraint in terms of how large of a mod you can use on console. There might be some other limitations as well.

There are. Many mods don’t work on console and that makes sense because the access you have on PC is so much more deep and you can add so much as long as your specs support it, on console you can only go so far before reaching memory and compute limits.

Skyrim has some incredible mods to make it look really good on console. I’m not expecting some groundbreaking graphic update via mods.

I think the limitations are mostly the 5GB storage and no script extender dependent mods.

Otherwise mods like Bruma can be brought over,I just hope with Starfield that 5GB storage can be pushed up to 15.

Marketing this early in development, or this partnership is more involved than just a one game?

Just for context, in the past I have run Skyrim on PC with roughly 100 GB of mods, so a 5 GB limitation is pretty severe.

You can still get some really nice texture and armor upgrades within that limit, but you can’t come close to the “go crazy / mod everything” setups on PC.

The other major limitation on console is that SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender) is not compatible. This knocks out the use of literally hundreds of great mods that depend on SKSE. Everything from UI overhauls to combat and animation changes to new quests/campaigns often rely on SKSE.

We have UI overhauls, combat animation, texture mod, cheat mods, armor, lighting, weather, new spells, new quest and changes to current quest now.

Like a mod that adds a dragon hate system(Serio’s enhanced dragons), which causes dragons to get stronger and unlock new abilities the more you kill. More dragons will attack together to the point that we could be fighting 5 Dragons at once along with them summoning back up.

It’s just we can’t have to many of them at the time, so we have to make different mod list to play with all the mods.

Edit: It doesn’t compare to PC of course, but there are a lot of variations of mods on Xbox that change or add things without the extender.

Cut it out.

Really, really sick of constantly talking about Xbox marketing. Who fucking cares.

They could put on the biggest marketing campaign possible that leads to 50 million players for Starfield and it still wouldn’t be enough for people.

Armchair marketing is annoying.

I’m thinking about playing PoE for the first time. Should I play PoE 1 or 2. I don’t really play crpgs. Is one easier to get into?
