I can see 2028, but probably a cross gen launch game. Too big of an audience to leave behind IMO, also don’t think it’d make a ton of difference in the launch window.
Main reason why I would leave behind this generation is to get people to jump to next generation sooner rather than later and not many games can accomplish this. One that can is TES 6. Plus, with all the stuff it would probably have, I wouldn’t want it to be confined to 8 year old tech when it releases. If not a launch game or shortly thereafter, November 2030 sounds great to me.
I’m kinda just expecting it to build off the work done for Starfield, not be like another generational step on top of that. It’s been in pre production forever, so it’s likely being designed with current generation in mind.
True but if they end up having expansions and wanting to support it for years especially with MODS, being next generation only would be a better decision in my opinion.
This is awesome
Fallout 76 got a Noclip documentary before the game released and it was great, as was the general BGS Noclip doc.
It would be awesome if they had one for Starfield before release, but I’m kinda doubting it will happen.
That is great. That kind of positive reunion means a great deal for building a cohesive team spirit.
The starfield deep dive was also very good to show and empower the working people.
They have been hinting about two huhge redacted documentaries recently. No clue as to who they are
Interesting. Then I guess it could be one of these
Starfield
Zelda
Spidey 2
FF16
I think Starfield has a really good chance of being one.
It need something cause nobody plays it anymore except a small group of die hards. The last time i touch Halo was over 8 months ago.
If they started the doc before the acquisition…
It’s approximately the furthest away from having its content be new it can be (everything in game right now launched at the beginning of the season and it’s the end now), yet it’s sitting about halfway through the most played games list. It’s not played by a small group of people at all, and there will be more new stuff in 2 days. I think they’re fine. You not playing a game doesn’t mean it’s not being played.
Ok fine whatever. The days of Halo being anywhere what it used to be are over though. Unless they branch of and try something new.
I’m not saying I’m opposed to new experiences (absolutely loved Reach and ODST which were different stories, and I’d be OK with other things too), but I think people are feeling a bit confused going from 4 to 5 to infinite, and having something thst continues this would be nice as well. I think they need to have some continuity to show that they’re not going to just abandon stuff before they do a big different story.
Halo didn’t have as much competition back then, also halo infinite didn’t launch feature complete.
I like the way it looks. Fed up of too much grimdark.
That definitely makes it sound like it isn’t coming out in the first half of 2024 like I thought.
Late 2024 release. The art will get refined. People sleeping on avowed smh. Obsidian are playing to their strengths and trying not to just make another Skyrim.
