She’s done making quests, so possibly they are all about the polishing now?

Most likely yes. I think they’re already done for a while, so it’s nice that she move on to another Xbox project. Very beneficial especially once ABK becomes part of the family.

Glad they responded.

Then that means a long ass polishing phase, which is good. And sounds very good for that september release.

I am actually shocked on this positive headline

My bet would be Shadowrun. But thats because thats the one MS IP i think inxile would be best fit for

Yeah, true, plus it is an established IP, interesting.

But I really, reaaaaally want to learn more about Cobalt too.

Still hoping it’s this super high budget thing Sponger claimed it was. Highest budget for XGS so far he said, not sure I believe that though.

Any chance it’s crimson skies that InXile is working on?

Phil Spencer has expressed he liked Crimson Skies, could make for a great competitor to Sonys third person action adventure open world games.

Wild guess.

What if they started working on an original steam punk IP back in 2018 and as soon as it became apparent MS was acquiring Zenimax, they adapted and modified the existing project to create a game in the fallout universe instead.

Probably not, but one would think their style, mechanics, genre etc. wouldn’t be too far off from a potential fallout game. Slap it’s name on it an modify it accordingly. Profit

I’m going with Arcanum. A designer who was involved with this game is at InXile. And the IP is owned by Activision.

Arcanum is a very cool steampunk RPG. I think a lot of people would be happy for a sequel/spiritual successor.

Minecraft Legends is awesome

a long stretch there, but you bring up a good point that everyone is expecting a CRPG when they could be working on a completely different genre that non of us would have guessed, after all MS has had quite a lot of their acquired studios announce games from studios we never would have guessed, a arena game from ninja theory, a survival game and whatever pentiment was from obsidian, and more recently a music beat em up from Tango Gameworks

Might be a longshot, but what if the established IP inExile working on is Shadowrun

I’d love it if it were Shadowrun.
