…ny other Xbox Game Studios project at the moment. I’m expecting this project to be quite an expensive and stressful one for whoever is working on it, and I feel like they’ve been intentionally silent and unwilling to show gameplay or trailers because they don’t want to add extra stress to the team or give off ridiculous expectations to the public that could eventually land them in some sort of media dunking contest like we see with so many modern AAA titles that fail to live up to expectations. I think Microsoft has higher ambitions with Perfect Dark and they expect it to be a flagship game that has not only an ambitious single player with a great story, but I also expect there to be multiplayer and coop modes. Would not be surprised if one of the Activision studios lends a hand on this one.

I could see Crimson Skies as an open world game like red dead redemption, replace horses with planes. Change the gameplay to be more of a third person shooter and have planes for faster mobility and different combat/traversal areas.

Read Dead has a massive budget & takes years to develop. Personally I’d like to see the guys who made Doom 2016 & Doom Eternal given a chance to make a Halo game (maybe a literal remake of Combat Evolved) on their id Tech engine.

With all the studios Microsoft now owns (& will soon own, aka literally Infinity Ward & co as well) they’ve got options regarding Halo’s future.

As someone who is looking forward to it, it was a terrible showing

But I feel it’s largely down to whoever was playing, they were terrible, not to mention the constant cuts throughout it

It is a matter of opinion, but to me the last gameplay just looked like a mess and not great.

So do I. Funny how one bad showing can throw so many off a game especially after the Layla trailer. But many seem to display a vested interest in this game being a failure despite their “love” for Arcane as a dev .

I think issue is IGN does a horrible showing gameplay for games. I remember they showed a Forza preview and person kept on crashing. Anyways, this game is getting mixed previews, but luckily we get to test out the game on gamepass

I really like the Fortnite style visual, CoD Zombie style combat as well as FC5 style environments demonstrated in the IGN’s Redfall video. Its player sucks though. I don’t get why those people keep complaining Arkane rather not that awful reviewer.

I liked Dishonored and Prey but they are just good games. I always felt that Arkane was overrated, the love for them is pure elitism or pretense.

I loved Dishonored and Prey, they are both excellent games. I always felt that Arkane was top-tier, the hate for them is pure jealousy or pettiness.
