Xbox Game Studios |OT10| Here are the games

I hope there is starfield info this week.

I hope there is Starfield/Redfall info every week.

A new screenshot or something like that would be nice, to kinda soften the blow I guess. But don’t expect it. Nobody saw that Todd Howard interview coming, they surprise you.

I wish they could just show the same tailor at 60 fps. I still have this fear Starfield will be a 30 fps game at which point ill pass till next gen for 60

Obviously the first one I agree with. But it’s gonna be odd not hearing the real voice though.

I hope it releases on the May 23 next year, that is national space day. It would be perfect. God I just hope so much they have it ready within the first half, man.

It won’t be the end of the world, but IMO it really needs to not be delayed out of the first half of 2023, in order to really get the Xbox first party momentum going in full force. Others will disagree but I feel like an earlier less polished game is preferable to a delay for Starfield.

Yeah, it needs to come out in H1. It’s the next BIG game and it’s allready been a year since the last one, two would be horrible.

Yeah, definitely disagree. Starfield is one of the first big Bethesda + Xbox exclusives. We also don’t know the state of the game.

Let’s say it releases too early and has way too many bugs. Wouldn’t be a good look. BuGthEsDA

Yeah I’m with you on this - I think after Fallout 76’s launch Bethesda are in a position where they need to push to get Starfield out as relatively smoothly as possible. This is possibly the biggest first party title to come from their acquisitions so far - I think it’d only reflect badly on Xbox if they were seen to be rushing the title out.

This is perhaps something I can agree on to some extent. Starfield will be heavily scrutinized, much more so than their previous games. Not because of the Fallout 76 debacle, but because it is an Xbox game. We all know what that means.

The first half of 2023 is absolutely stacked

Starfield is a very important game and basically the biggest game Xbox will have (bar ABK) until ES6 finally releases

You’re crazy if you think it’s better to release buggy earlier than to give it an extra couple of months of polish, they’ve spent upwards of 7 years on this game, no point rushing over the finish line especially when there will be endless other games to play early next year

100% Disagree. I don’t want a less polished game potentially running at 30fps. Fuck that. If they need an extra six months, give it to them. I still believe that they will give the game a full one year delay because until TES 6, THIS is the fucking game for Xbox and they can’t rush it out just because some may be anxious to play it.

Also, if Hellblade 2, Avowed, Fable, Perfect Dark, etc. are all 2024 or later, then what game would fill up next Fall/Holiday?

For me personally, my preference would be Redfall in late February/early March, Ghostwire Tokyo port in early April, Forza Motorsport in late June, Contraband in September and Starfield in November. The rest of the year can be filled up with Age of Empires, Ara, Minecraft Dungeons, Project Belfrey and day one Game Pass deals.

I want their exclusives to be spread out and I don’t care if the game is not for me. Spread them out. Stop stacking a bunch of games in a six month window while the other six months are empty like most open world games. lol

Most of all, I want Starfield to be highly polished with as little bugs/glitches as possible and for the combat to be smooth, fluid and responsive. And of course, all running at 60fps using Performance Mode.

I waited a year to play Halo Infinite so I can easily wait a year for Starfield especially if it means that im getting a far better game and product.

I would say it’s both. Everyone remember Fo76, but Skyrim has bugs to this day which are not fixed. Known since 360, but still ignored like in the Switch version. Oblivion 360 doesn’t play a track because of a bug. Morrowind has a bug that the NPC for fast travel could die from drowning or falling because they move like 1-2 cm from their original spot everytime you fast travel.

It’s definitely going to be under a bigger microscope because it’s an Xbox game but I think people here forget how much Bethesda’s name was in the mud before Xbox bought them.

Starfield was going to be under a microscope regardless if it was under Xbox or not.

Starfield date when

TGA it has to be, that conference’s audience is huge, which is exactly what Starfield needs, a Skyrim-like (2011’s) trailer that hypes everybody and gives an exact release date.

It’s a shame Starfield doesn’t have that aura games like Cyberpunk, Elden Ring or Skyrim had before release, unlike with these 3, most people don’t know this game yet, and i’m even talking about gamers who play a lot, but pretty much everyone that doesn’t check gaming forums hasn’t heard of it yet.

Yes it’s a bit of both for sure. Bethesda games have always been buggy, but this time it will be a bigger problem, or perceived as a bigger problem, simply because it is associated with Xbox.

I of course hope they can release it in H1, that it is ready. That would be the best outcome. If it’s not ready, then of course they should delay it.
