I 100% agree. Funny thing is MS was close with Mediatonic as the developed Fable Fortune and Gears Pop, but their price probably went way up after Fall Guys so I don’t see MS making an offer.
Maybe Alpha Dog could be pivoted to make those types of games if MS wants to get away from traditional non-cloud mobile. The devs have experience with Unreal Engine.
I can? For example, November 10 the XSX is here. I will then set my bro’s XSX as my home Xbox and he does that too. I can still hook up my One X in the other room and play the games that i or he bought? The digital ones, that is? I don’t do anything in the my home Xbox settings for the ONe X? (well except for unlinking it before i set my XSX to my home Xbox)
Ya I agree. I also think it’s the best path forward for fallout. Fallout 4 had somewhat mixed reception. Especially compared to the previous 2 games. Then 76 happened.
I think going back to the west coast and letting obsidian do their thing would help the franchise a lot.
Putting the outer worlds franchise on hold for a few years would also help in acquiring publishing rights for the IP.
Obsidian taking over Fallout would be great IF BGS is ok with it. Not a good idea to tear it from then unwillingly the second they joined your company.
For all we know BGS could be tired of elder scrolls and fallout hence why they are making starfield. This would allow them to make new ips and not have to keep making the same 2 games
I am sure BGS would remain control over mainline Fallout. If Obsidian were to do it, it’d be a side game like New Vegas. I am all for Obsidian doing it, as long as they are choosing to. I personally would rather see what they could do with Outer Wilds and a nice budget.
