I have said it numerous times. The problem (as I see it) is they have entirely too much faith in 343. Relying on that studio was the biggest self inflicted wound going into this gen. They pulled other studios if their projects and STILL didn’t hit the deadline. They need to take a good long look at 343 and figure out what they are doing.

Wolfenstein III is my pick to be the first Xbox exclusive being released since the Zenimax acquisition. My prediction is May 2021. And yes, like Klobrille said, it will be the finale to the new trilogy.

I believe it is Starfield. it will follow the same FO4 disclosure script it will be revealed completely in 2021 maybe on the Xbox E3 Briefing or BE3 Event and will be released on Holiday 2021 for Series X|S, PC and Game Pass.
This is incredibly impressive. I don’t think the game loads ONCE in under a minute on my XOX.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve actually stopped playing all games until the Series X comes out. After some of these vids, they have convinced me that I don’t want to have an inferior game experience from here on out.
This is the most impressive SSD demonstration I’ve seen on either console so far.

Definitely possible that Starfield releases in 2021 but if it does, it would be in the fall which would still allow Wolfenstein III to release in May. Wolfenstein’s average is every two years. We’ll see what happens. Either way, 2021 will definitely be better than 2014 in my opinion.

It would be tragic if that game was not in 6 years in development. Firing everyone of course is not the solution, but a restructuring is necessary there at 343 Studio. something needs to be done.

Spring or possibly early summer I would guess. Hope sooner. Also think we are getting a forza next year. Which would make for a really good year.

Do all of the zenimax studios have a short time between announcement and release? It sounds like Bethesda has done that in the past, but we saw Ghostwire and Deathloop in 2019, over a year before the planned release. Both of those are timed exclusives though, so Sony might have has some influence on timing.
What about other teams?
That would be an excellent first party lineup for 2021.

Before the halo delay and Bethesda acquisition it was bare as can be.
Now we are getting 2 of the biggest games in Xbox history in the same year possibly. Psychonaughts 2, forza, and Wolfenstein will be gravy on top. Flight sim on consoles. Age 4 has got to come out too right?
