Xbox Game Studios |OT| Halo...is it me you’re looking for?

That’s good. I don’t know why Microsoft continues to try to get their own Twitch/Facebook type shit. It’s like, give it a rest already. It’s not going to work and is just a waste of money that could be put towards more important things.

They should try to acquire Steam instead.

November 19th little correction )

On timing, CDPR won’t release their game before the date, because they will take every opportunity possible to “polish” (lol yeah I know) the game till the last second and make it the best it can be. They probably won’t sacrifice this precious time given.

Otherwise on the GP partnership I can totally see that, would be huge because it is the only big game that could replace Halo Infinite as big system seller AAA.

InXile’s new building apparently

A question regarding Xbox All Access

If you get an Xbox through all access, after 2 years you cant sell it privately and if you do you cant use all access again?

This is written by Gizmodo AU and the he is a snippet:

However, read the fine print. After two years of payments, the Xbox Series S or X is yours and you’ll have to pay for Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play separately. If you opt to use the Xbox All Access program again in the future, you’ll then have to trade the Series S or X back in. The same thing applies to current Xbox owners who financed those Xboxes through the Xbox All Access program previously. If you have an old Xbox One X or S via the program and want to get the new Series X or S you’ll have to trade in that old console.

Watching this clip I realize Xcloud needs a big E-Sport game for Korea. Getting Overwatch on Gamepass for this market would be huge. I know Crossfire is trying to fill the gap but Overwatch is a much bigger IP.

Yup and BEFORE the 22nd.

I found bullet points on the US Xbox site that mention returning the console, but it appears directed to customers who were trading in an Xbox One X at the 18 month point rather than after completion of 24 month program. Here is the sentence that ties to the footnote, with the footnote wording. To me it appears the hardware return is only for this situation if you already used the all access to get an Xbox One and want to upgrade:

Upgrade to an Xbox Series X in 18 months†† with the purchase of an Xbox One

Digital Direct: Your 24-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership is delivered directly to your console during set-up and is available in Settings; no codes required. Warranty: console is under a 1 year limited hardware warranty (90 days for controller/accessories) regardless of length of financing. (Microsoft Limited Hardware Warranty: Hardware warranty, services, and repair). Upgrade: Upgrade option after the equivalent of 18 payments for the next Xbox console only, coming Holiday 2020 (excludes Xbox One X, S, and S All Digital Edition). New contract, terms, and pricing required for upgrade; monthly payments may be higher. Upgrading from Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will require payment of a $20 upgrade fee (subject to change). The fee will be billed by Citizens One and will be due according to the first statement issued following the upgrade. Requires return of console, controller, and power cord in good condition. The next Xbox console available under the upgrade option is subject to FCC rules and will comply with the appropriate FCC rules when available. See product and upgrade terms at Xbox All Access Offer Terms And Conditions | Xbox.

If you are in Australia though, maybe do the contact us for Telstra on this site? I didn’t see this note on either their site or the Australian xbox all access site, so not sure where Gizmodo AU pulled it from.

Why is no one mentioning Gears Tactics? It’s a console release game on Nov 10th and it is legit fucking great.

Because Microsoft’s marketing team is weird. They could at least drop a YouTube announcement video. Or maybe they announced every launch game at an event or launch video in the near future …

A look back at the past. These moves saved the whole brand, Worth a watch. Enjoy!

There is also the second move that saved the Xbox division:

  • The acquisition of Minecraft.

The first acquisition that Satya Nadella made, pushed by Phil Spencer. It was such a great move that Phil Spencer got promoted, Xbox become its own division and not under Windows anymore.

I feel like if they did want to work together an acquisition is always the best step. Bit supposed to hear that Bungie is that complicated.

Nonetheless, perhaps a second party relationship like what Xbox had with Playground before the acquisition. Would definitely love to see what else Bungie could make.

Yes indeed big move.
