I am bracing myself for the “Microsoft focuses too much on PC” crowd

And yet again nothing from Ubi. I guess we’re just not getting the last three big games by them.

Lapin looks fun.

Gonna check out gungrave and a few of the PC games on my Steam Deck. Is Dune similar to Command & Conquer?

I’ll give them credit they did a couple console and not pc ones this time. Issue is we are getting close and close to console owners having to pay more for less. Console owners need ultimate to get gamepass ea play and gold(for online). Pc can just get the base format for 10 and get it all. And the number of games aren’t too far off from each other right now. Almost down to single digits. My issue has always been the pricing between the two. Console shouldn’t be paying more for them to focus on PC.

Now as far as the games for this month some interesting looking games, but nothing i will get to anytime soon. Back log of recent purchases plus the a couple of recent games like plagues tale and Pentiment i need to get knocked out.

PC only Subscribers would not get xCloud services nor the perks of GPU. The real thing is PC players have been paying too much for what they were getting, and now its being corrected.

And console owners who don’t want those things are forced to have them and pay more. If basic xbox gamepass came with everything the pc came with that would be fine. But the well you got this other stuff that you might not want is okay for us to upcharge you. I don’t agree with that.

Get rid of gold and put ea play in the basic xbox gamepass tier and i would have 0 issue

they’re not “focusing on pc” they are putting games out where they exist. darktide hits console “soon”, the others are game preview and pc only genres like 4x games. console still has more games on it than PC by 15. It’s a give and take, and something like Norco being PC first then hitting console.

Seriously? Game Pass is already a ridiculously good deal for a console only or pc only player right now. It’s not like you’re being ripped off. This feels like entitlement to me. Your service you are paying for is worth it, no?

I am happy with what I get for what I’m paying.

I don’t understand the mentality of “a vs b” for all things in life that so many people seem to live with.

Also, my mistake for kicking off that discussion. I was just kidding lol

I’m curious about Gungrave, the news that it would be on GP was hype, but footage so far has been…not too great, but we’ll see. For the second half of this months there’s not really a big game, I definitely expected Ubi to fill in that slot. I guess we’ve gotten all they are willing to offer. Bit surprised, because didn’t Sony get Valhalla already?

If a game is not on console in the first place but is added on PC Game Pass I see no problem with that. PC after all does have unique needs trlative to console and some games are only PC or first on PC.

In any case, the abscence of Ubisoft again, is that it? Like no more Ubi additions? I’d find it weird.

I cant even bother thinking about Game Pass on a month to month basis anymore. As long as I have a back log of games to play it doesn’t matter when they dropped. And I have quite the backlog right now.

Similarly, I don’t think of services like Netflix on a month to month basis.

Darktide but then the console version is delayed :expressionless:

The polish store showed Valhalla in game pass, might be coming in December. They had a ton of games this month, so maybe they’re waiting on a lighter month (and to give more time for people to finish Origins and Odyssey)

Well dang it I’m reminded that I have a TV show backlog too :confused_wat:

The last two months have been crazy for sure, so yeah hopefully that, but I imagined they wanted to have Ubisoft fill the rest of this year in the AAA quota and not necessarily go into 2023 because they’d have a lot of stuff in 1st half 2023 for Ubisoft additions to be needed anyway lol

Maybe I should start to see it that way too. I have a huge backlog as well of bought games, and several things on Game Pass still.

Yeah, I meant console. Forgot to say that. I hope console version is not a long wait now.

But wasn’t that the same thing with Cyberpunk? That never got added though. December is possible for ACV, that could mean January and February for WDL and FC6. Unless Ubi considers FC6 too recent still.
