Dragon Quest collection :raised_hands: Monopoly on WRPGs and JRPGs here we come. :p3: I’m assuming it’s the Tokyo RPG Factory games we never got.

I was going to pre-order but i feel like this is an actual possibility, plus Judgment comes out on the same day and I’d rather play that.

Anyone check out Genesis Noir yet? I was playing a bit on Xbox. Not sure if achievements are busted, none popped in around an hour. I really don’t have a clue what’s going on here, it’s very strange and obtuse and doesn’t really hint much at what to do. I love the vibe and aesthetic, music especially, but probably wouldn’t stick with it without those elements. Am I thinking about the “puzzles” in the wrong manner? I was in the second chapter and exited the game thinking it would save as it gives no warning that exiting will result in a loss of progress and…it wants me to start the chapter all over again.

Finished undertale last night. Won’t post spoilers but it’s an amazing game and only took me like 5 hours to beat. Is playing a passive run through worth it or as should I just look up a YouTube video. Trying to pick what I play next. I think I’m going to start finishing off games that I started but never finished. With the small amount of releases it seems we will get this year it feels like the perfect time to finish my backlog. Should I start with CrossCode, Carrion, Messenger, Cybershadow or Wargroove? I’m around 50 percent or more through most of these

Hyped to start Genesis Noir, played the demo and fell in love with the whole New York Jazz aesthetic and music. The demo ended on a cliffhanger, so can’t wait to see what happens. Seems like there’s a dark story at the heart of it.

To those having frustrations/confusions with the structure of it, I would say go in considering it more as an interactive art piece ala What Remains of Edith Finch, than a mechanically driven video game and you’ll find it more interesting imo.

Such a great experience, glad you liked it! I would personally do another run if I were in your shoes but we were just talking about spending too much time on a single game

From what I remember, there’s a fair difference in NPC dialogue and ending stuff based on how you handle things, so it’s up to you if you want to just check out a youtube video or something. I suggest you look up some of the stuff happening behind the scenes too, because there’s some cool stuff that’s hidden from the player. As for your question, Carrion is the only one I’ve finished so I’d say that because it’s a pretty short game.

I think my issue is that there’s times when I don’t have any idea what to do, or do know but don’t know how to trigger the solution. The game is also fairly buggy on Xbox so far. And I can’t get it to install on my PC. I really want to love it, but this stuff makes it difficult.

aah, that’s unfortunate. I’m installing it on PC right now, I’ll see if the bugs are present in this as well. It was fine on Steam back when I played the demo.

And yeah, the game holds no hand at all, and even I was stuck in a few instances. My trick was just clicking around everywhere lol. It’s definitely very “avant-garde”, maybe to a fault haha.

According to IGN Korea, six or more games from Square Enix are already confirmed to be coming to Game Pass. It is apparently an open secret and now they are arranging the release schedule, so the announcement is just a matter of time.

Did you complete it already?

i completed the demo, just installing the full game now. How far have you gotten?

The demo ends at the train station where the guy witnesses something happen.

That’s awesome, hope the announcement is soon.

I swear if Nier Replicant…
