They’re gonna have 200+ games with touch controls soon. Minecraft Dungeons was the first one in September 2020.

Looks like this drop is about text based/ visual novel games. Immortality, Coffee Talk and Opus should be great for fans of the genre. Coffee Talk is a great game and I’ve heard a lot of good things about Opus.

And for everyone who wants to cry go play Spiritfarer and What Remains of Edith Finch before they leave Game Pass.

Quake 2 Remastered was rumoured wasn’t it? Plus a bunch of older Bethesda titles being tested for new releases - maybe some shadow drops at Quake con.

Yeah that could be it.

To this date, I don’t understand why Touch controls are not available on local console streaming. And why the streaming quality is sub 720p on andriod app.

Did they really just decide “Welp okay Game Pass doesn’t need any more Japanese games now that we announced Persona 5”

If this was “Visual Novel” month then where’s Danganronpa V3?

And what is this stuff anyway? Coffee Talk, well it was a GWG. And Immortals? Did these Ubisoft games cost a shitload of budget? I mean, they’re only adding their bargain bin titles. They aren’t gonna add FC6 this year.

Is this some sort of ploy to make Game Pass look unimpressive so that the Activision acquisition passes through easier?

Do they need it though?

Well, next month is TGS and Microsoft will have a Livestream.

That might be a question for Spike more so than Xbox.

Might just be that the port isn’t ready yet, or they have other projects that have kept their focus away from v3 for now.

Yeah, I’m expecting at least 1-2 ports to be announced there, alongside some new indies.

If no Tales of Arise at TGS for Game Pass it’s probably not going to happen this year. Might just buy it in the sale.

And then the month after it’s on Game Pass.

:phil_lmao:

But I definitely had expected it by now.

Their Game Pass ads in Japan are starting to become obsolete because they’re adding so few (they still have Nier Automata on the ads there which isn’t in GP anymore), so I would say yes.

Well, at TGS there probably will be some surprises.

Why? Though I do curious why we get Scarlet Nexus relatively fast in GP.

Well, they did have period with Yakuza ads when those games left Game Pass and then came back. But there are not many choices as without acquisition you won’t get the reliable amount of content.

Don’t know, I guess because of Scarlet Nexus. But at the same time Tales is a established and beloved franchise, Nexus was a new IP. Or we have big bad Sony to thank for it. Who knows.

Oh, is it 720p only on Android app?

No wonder games felt a bit blurry. Thought it was my network.

When I saw Coffee Talk my reaction was the same as yours, they really didn’t have something else and that wasn’t GwG? However, Immortals is a strong title, I already have it though but it’s good stuff. As for FC6, yeah it’s the one game by them I’m waiting for as well. So far it’s been mostly older Ubi titles. Origins instead of Oddysey, Wildlands instead of Breakpoint, although quality wise apparently the former is much better so I guess there’s that.

Immortality is that FMV game, I quite enjoy those myself. Lately the service is indies majority and about one or two bigger games, unfortunately. I guess MS really just doesn’t see the value of adding some older, bigger titles from two years ago or so. There’s still tons left that have never been added and I can’t imagine those are too hard to get.

yes Wildlands is a fantastic game
