There is no hypocrisy there, MS already put plenty of AAA games on the service, like they did with Bethesda games when the deal was done, like they will do with Activision as well. Since day one, they have put both indie games and bigger games in the service, so suddenly having people criticizing that, just to feel better about another service derserve to be called out.

I don’t see calling it hypocrisy. It’s not like they said, hey we’re releasing this game but despite saying you can play it here day one, you have to buy it instead.
Day one moved, and that happens. And honestly it’s not likely that they won’t add something extra to make up for it. We’re very likely to see just what all is getting added in a couple weeks here
Feel free to say hey the selection isn’t for me, but you really can’t make a case that they’re not doing their best to add value for players.

Seriously. I complain a bit here from time to time about how they could fill the dry periods with more, somewhat older big games sure. But I love the indies on GP, that is next to the first party games Day One the best thing with Game Pass.
I have discovered so many incredible, fun and unexpected great little games thanks to Game Pass. Games that I would never have bought or even found otherwise.
These cultists disguised as journalists or influencers can piss off with their thinly veiled fanboi crap.

PS+ has a good lineup that’s probably a great value to many subsets of people. But the confusing tier system, more expensive entry, and the lack of day one releases, makes it objectively not in the same tier as GP. I fail to see how MS could be inspired to try harder to compete with this exact offering, it literally isn’t doing anything that they haven’t done like 2 years ago at least 
The “day one” aspect is also completely nonexistent. From 3rd party and more importantly 1st party.

Could probably get away with referring to it as III - which is similar to what I think Hellblade, a few other really notable indie games were referred to. Rebellion is owned by 2 brothers I think, but they are a larger group than a lot of independent studios - something like 280 employees working for the games part of the company.

Oh wow surprised there’s focus on stealth besides sniping. Actually could check it out. One thing that made me quit previous ones was that I didn’t like it being 90% sniping, sniping just got repetitive to me, and that’s fine because the game is literally made for sniping lol

Sniper Elite and Jurassic World Evolution 2 are definitely AAA as far as I’m concerned. I did see utter fools on Twitter calling Sniper Elite Game Pass fodder last week. Some can only bitch, bitch, bitch and talk shit. And talk nonsense because it’s anything but fodder.

It seems like Rebellion use similar methods for recording gun noise as what we saw 344 doing, it looked like they pay as much attention to detail capturing vehicles almost as you might see for Forza with hundreds of pictures of a given machine going into the design process. They definitely are top tier. I wish we didn’t have stupid categories of aa or aaa or aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc is very good. I held off on playing it because i was focused on Elden Ring. It scratchers that death game itch i had since watching Squid Game.
