The best part is its not about to end anytime soon. I’ll have to clone myself a few times to enjoy all the gaming goodness in the coming years.

My non-gamer wife asked me what I thought of the E3 showcase after I’d watched. All I said was there’s not enough time for all the games. Although I’m not complaining! What game pass is offering is worlds away from the 1-2 games a year (max) I got for my SNES/N64 back in the 90s.

I did this in March and haven’t regretted it one bit. Been gaming more than ever since then and its been great. Admittedly though, I will probably turn a TV service back on when (American) football season starts back up in a few months.

This is the Gamepass Day 1 we have all been waiting for lol lets go Space Jam baby.
Fuck I can’t even keep track of all the stuff I want to play. Did waste like $50 on LAD since I bought it then barely played it. Wish I could retire and focus on my backlog.

Seem like that Space Jam game built with community ideas is coming to Xbox Game Pass, they talk about “available first with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate”, maybe as a perk, on july, 15. Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game is a 2D brawler.
Back in December 2020, Xbox called all gamers, Space Jam fans and coding enthusiasts to submit their ideas for the new Space Jam: A New Legacy game available first with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. After reviewing submissions from around the world, Xbox and the Digital Eclipse development team selected the ideas and game concepts from two lucky winners, whose ideas have come to life in one of the looniest arcade style challenges around.

I beat DQB2 last night. That must have been like a 90 hour game… I went in expecting 40. Took me a little over a month. Still, it was extremely charming and kept me playing even though I generally dislike “brick building” games. Highly recommended if you DO like such games.

It’ll be interesting to see what the third party gamepass deals look like 2-3 years from now. Xbox is undoubtedly stealing a lot of market share this gen, and a big factor in picking up games like Hades on gamepass is the fact that the devs are subsidized by other platforms to allow for a lump sum deal like gamepass.
When other platforms’ market share decreases, it’d make sense that the price to sign games up on gamepass will increase as well. That said, Xbox will also be making more money as more and more users sign up.
Don’t want to give fanboys any arguments to spread misinformation about gamepass, but it’ll be genuinely interesting going forward.
