Yeah, Arkane can do without that. Just see Dishonored and Prey.
But maybe it suits it and we’ll find out when we play.

I heard Jez mentioned not long ago there would be more than just those 4 games, but yeah, it is better to temper expectations and expect only whay they officially confirmed.
I am personally satisfied with just seeing more Redfall so regardless of the outcome, Id be set.
Yep. The more most likely being the release date at the end.
It’s the under promise and overdeliver thing that they want to try and do more, after having it go the other way too often. I know people are like “well then that means they have to every time!” but they have so much to show this year that I don’t think it’s an issue, plus you can just add the word “only” instead of “includes” next time if you want.

Hey, one can hope. I really don’t see the appeal and so far that is the only reason I’m still skeptical. It’s the very antithesis to immersion for me.
They already said the game is not like that - those dialogues were part of marketing to introduce the characters. So, this particular concern can stop.

Arkane already said that the game will not have in-game dialogue like that though…

I’m not worried about it. I think Arkane was just trying to figure out how to market the game.
Last couple of trailers show a different tone imo. I think they know what they got now.
I’m hoping to see the systems in this game and why this open world shooter is unique from others.
I think the messaging is pretty clear and i am going to keep my expectations in check.
I only want one big game pass surprise game and that should round off the show pretty well

I’m not really worried, but someone somewhere thought that is a good representation of the game after all.
Yeah, thank the gods for that… But I suppose there’s cutscenes and other story beats left they can ruin. Fingers crossed it’s just some marketing weirdos at it again.

Yeah, that’s what I’m expecting. Hope it’s not one of those co-op gameplay presentations with fake banter though,
I have honestly seen a lot of advertisement for the Direct.
Xbox app (duh) and Twitter is all I’ve seen.
Doing my best to spread the word in other channels though hehe.
